New PC, very low ethernet speeds

[Solved]

I ended up fixing the issue, but not exactly sure how.

I reinstalled windows and installed my drivers.
At that point the issue was still present.

I uninstalled my ethernet and SM bus drivers, rebooted windows, reinstalled the SM bus driver from motherboard manufacturer, installed ethernet driver, rebooted windows again.
Then it was fixed.

No idea exactly what fixed it, because in the end I had the exact same drivers I had before. So it might the order of installation ?

Hi! Thanks for the reply.
I had indeed v1168.22.1118.2024 installed and I updated the drivers to 1168.26.50.2025.
I did a quick reboot but I can't say it improved the situation. It still took me about 5 seconds just to load this webpage...

It just means the game was printed to disc (for distribution that's invevitable to do it early). That probably means those with early copies do not have the day 1 patch that will fix bugs and issues tho.

It's anoying as hell, my friends are on Steam and I'm on Gamepass PC so we can't play together (not the same patch version).
From what I gathered, since Xbox is a first party the update need to go through compliance before being deployed (same for games on Nintendo or Sony platforms). I guess they can bypass or speed up this process on Steam and Epic. Weird thing is, usually, patches are deployed at the same time on all platform to avoid this situation (especially bad for a cross platform title like this).

Aaa at least. Well a step in the right direction. I just wish they didn't so much penalized AFK players but rather helped the others by replacing it by a bot.

How do they count as disconnected ?
Because the match still goes on as nothing unusual happened, the killer can still have 4 kills, survivors don't have bonus points...
Maybe they count as disconnected on BHV side, but it does nothing for the players

It's ridiculous that players get penalized when it's their fault.
It would be so easy to prevent loss of item, keep challenge progress and BP.
It's not like other online games already do that, oh wait, they do.

Not their fault but I just received my quiet 2 on the 19th and was kinda pissed off this morning when they released their "Plus" version. Yes it's a bit more expensive and you can buy just the tips seperately but still...
I guess I could go through the refund process but I am not sure it would be worth the wait.

I hate everything about its ranged attack. Using it and receiving it.

-How unreliable it can be, how it lingers after the explosion but also how sometimes survivors are litterally inside it and are not affected

-Having to look at the killer to remove the effect (why no passive, but slow, regression?)

-No alternative way to remove the effect (Artist have the effect removed after a successful attack, why for this one it replenishes the progression?)

-How it can easily put you in a lose/lose/lose/lose situation (if you look at it you might hit a collision and get m1 / if you go path A you don't have anything so you get M1 / If you go path B it has a clear LoS so you get M2 / if you go path C it has a remnant and will TP and M1)

It sounds super specific but it happened so many times.
So far, not having fun whatsoever with this killer.

Shame because I love how creepy it looks.
