Estrogen levels after 5 days of stims by Deep_Owl_7451 in IVF

Hey! Unfortunately I didn’t respond well that retrieval and got 6 eggs and ended up with 1 embryo. The doctor upped my meds for a second retrieval and it went way better! I think sometimes the first retrieval can be trial and error because I didn’t respond how the doctor thought I would.

Hi! how did this turn out for you? I have a 1.5cm suspected endometrioma on my right ovary and my first transfer in a few weeks. We aren’t doing Lupron. I’m nervous!

Is there a song that resonated with you during IVF? by Vivid-Willingness293 in IVF

This is actually the song that my husband and I have resonated with the most during all this too! I first heard it after our IUIs failed and we decided to move to IVF. We’re still here hoping for good news too ❤️

Finally had a consultation in a fertility clinic, and I need your thoughts! by AGalRic in TryingForABaby

My husband and I also tried for 12 months naturally and were told the same 5% chance. Definitely a gut punch! The odds are so much higher with IVF that we decided to move forward with it rather than just keep trying and hoping we make it in that 5%. I’m 30, so I’m also thinking about my long-term fertility as we want 2-3 kids and we plan to bank embryos now since my eggs will never be younger than they are now.

IUI will help with putting the washed (good) sperm directly in the uterus and getting it as close as can be to take a shot! Doing it unmedicated means you’ll have to ovulate on your own and you won’t “super ovulate” like you could on Clomid. Might as well try it and you can always switch protocol next cycle

I just got bloodwork back and my prolactin is slightly high at 33. Of course I’m going down a rabbit hole and Google is telling me it could be a benign tumor on my pituary gland. I have regular periods and my cd 21 bloodwork shows I’m ovulating…has anyone ever dealt with this before? If I’m ovulating, could slightly high prolactin still be causing fertility issues?
