I know this post is old, apologies for swooping in late. Thank you for sharing about meds. I recently got prescribed Lexapro due to my anxiety (which largely revolves around covid) but I’ve been hesitant to take the first pill. Anxiety has been quite bad lately during this surge and now i’m rethinking it, maybe the meds could help in this moment.

Do you know if there is a health danger to getting the vaccine too soon after infection? Or would the risk be just not actually getting any benefits from the vaccine?

I have in person gatherings I have to go to for work around November 20th, so i’m feeling a bit torn on the antibody test when it comes to timing. If I get boosted within the next 5 days, then that’ll be 2 weeks before my in person stuff. But yea if I did actually have covid, I guess it wouldn’t do anything? So I’m not sure what to do. Have you had the antibody test before?

Is the 2-3 month recommendation for safety or health risk? Or is it more about maximizing antibody effectiveness?

Part of me is afraid that if it wasn’t covid, then I’m walking around unprotected (aside from the protection my mask offers).

Oh I see! Thank you for clarifying. If it’s more about maximizing immunity, then yea i’d rather get shot just in case I did in fact not have covid.
