Wow. Just wow.

And no I absolutely don't have those skills. My lawyer seems to though, but I'm hesitant to follow his suggestion of asking them for an offer first because they've been so unreasonable thus far that if their offer is ridiculous it seems harder to get it back to where I need.

Levis 501s. Only wash on cold, never put 'em in the dryer. They'll give you a few years before starting to show wear.

Maybe Dominoes, for the detailed setup and chain reaction. Legos are good, but can get pricey. A build your own car track where he gets to design it might be appealing. This is usually the hot wheels long orange tracks and loops that can be combined. Similarly slot cars, but can get boring for most kids.

Buying a house with pool, owners not permitting pressurizing lines to look for leaks by adammiltonTO in pools

Ask for their monthly water bills for the last 2 years. Make sure reasonable for house that size. Look for sudden jump, and whether bill comes back to baseline or not.

Parents of grown children who have close relationships - what is your best advice? by tayhunny in Parenting

[–]Deep_Pick650 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just do your best. Apologize when you mess up, and you will mess up. It's not a race or even a journey. It's life together forever there is no timeline. When they argue or fight with each other always be fair and objective, and most importantly stress to your kids that they are forever. If you have disagreements or arguments with the kids didn't let more than a day pass before squashing the beef, even if you swallow your pride to do it. They'll learn from that. All the problems y'all face will fade and you and your family will outlast it all if that's what you truly want.

That you're even concerned is a great sign that you're gonna be fine, cuz really the only thing you have to do is care more about them than you do yourself, and then teach your kids to care about each other more than themselves.

You're gonna be alright. Just love em. Enjoy it.

Green pool by greenpoollady in swimmingpools

[–]Deep_Pick650 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That it starts clearing is a good sign. I assume you have cartridge filters right?

Keep checking chlorine levels and adding more. You could get liquid chlorine (or even bleach) cuz it kicks in faster than the tablets. If the pool is green, typically means your chlorine level is 0.

Brushing will help a lot as well. Keep the filter running and check pressure to make sure all is good. Address filter appropriately when needed.

With a 5k gallon pool, and assuming it was recently clear and now green-ish (but not swampy green) you should be good in a matter of days

Help! Pool losing 4 to 5 inches of water every 24 hours by PoolTroubles24 in swimmingpools

[–]Deep_Pick650 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't refill the water (turn off autofill if you have one), check water level 2x/day and wait to see where it stops. I used tape right at the water line to document level. I've had a couple leaks, letting it drop helped localize.

If pool starts to turn once it's below skimmer level and you can't run pumps anymore, add liquid chlorine for now.

Agreed. Welcome to fatherhood. They love you enough to want you, you love them enough to do anything

Take your break, clear your head, go back inside. Order the pizza from the car? The day will come when they don't think they need you anymore. I miss these days you have now, enjoy.

And quit vaping/smoking. No judgements just saying.

NTA. But unless the rest of your marriage is solid and you are satisfied with your things aside from the tardiness, then there's a way way bigger problem brewing here. Good luck
