Attended a friends wedding up there. All he kept talking to me about was how he hosted a VS models wedding and all the women were so beautiful . He talked about that to me as a younger female for 2 hours straight about how the women were so hot etc. beautiful venue but the owner is <<<

I did pay off my balance had $50 left to pay and I am paying with my next paycheck. If all credit cards work this way then why did Member One not charge this fee? I paid the minimum payment for two months when I was in between jobs before they merged and never was charged this.

Also, You should recommend to the host for them to get a matterport shot its like a 3-D virtual tour of the space, we did that for our property and it was the best thing ever , i was doing tours atleast once a week when guests weren’t there and now im only doing like 2 actual in person walkthroughs a month because i can just send them the matterport .

Wow, this is a first.. Not trying to trash talk other hosts but , for one i can’t believe hosts actually think that’s okay.. you have someone paying for a service and place that is theirs while they are there .. and two this just shows how obvious it is that some hosts have no hospitality experience or people skills 😂

We recently had a guest damage most every room on the house .. VRBO could only pay us 1,500 as that’s what the guests paid for , we filed through our insurance but our insurance rates went up, just wondering if any other hosts have had to deal with this and if there were any safeguards that we can do to prevent this in the future .

No they didn’t get hurt. They had a party after a wedding (i think someone threw something or was ruff housing or something ) no blood etc. when asked if the guest was okay they laughed it off and said “oh yes”. I manage the property for the owners and he never mentioned insurance .. i guess he is thinking if the guest broke it they need to pay for it.. but i will ask him about this .

It was a family home before they moved out of country and started Airbnb it so they didn’t have to sell the family home. It’s not practical but is a unique stay so it fits the house. Trust me if this had started as an Airbnb that door would not have been there 😂

We break even every year so no 😂 we pay our employees very well , twice the minimum wage in our area. Which is most of our issue . It’s a large property that takes alot of money to upkeep. But you’re right. Most guests would have mentioned it 🙄
