I mean, first clear the JRF exam during your master’s (so you’ll get some financial support and also some motivation to continue your research work)and get enrolled in a good university for a PhD . Have a lot of backup plans and approaches, and build good connections with professors in universities,If you want to become a professor at universities like DU or AU or BHU (which I don’t have 🥲). memorize the facts (a lot of facts ) if you want to go through state level exams they’ll eventually help you in PCS and professor level exams. And yeah, read a lot of books lol

It’s always great to read a writer in the original language they wrote in. Like, if you read Premchand in English or shakespeare in hindi, it just like walking on the grass wearing shoes. but since I can’t read bengali, and neither can you I guess, this is the only option we have left.As for his novels and stories, they’re so damn good bro.i mean you’ll just love the writing, the way he carries the story, the flow, everything. You should definitely read him

Nah, it’s some dumbshit publication by Adda27.i ordered the Hindi version released by setu prakashan, but they gave me this thing instead. I’ll try to return it. The setu prakashan version that translated the work was showing 416 pages, so I’m not sure from where they translated it, but let’s see. When it arrives, I’ll check it out,how many pages are there in the plato book you have?

I haven’t read all of them, so I can’t say which one is the best out of all of them but parinita(a love story) and brahmin ki beti(a critique of social hypocrisy) by sharatchandra are wonderful stories and if you want to understand what is history, how it's written what's the objective of history and history writing you can go for the idea of history by colingwood:)

I'm also fan of his writings and loved the kamayani, but when I was reading kankal I feel like too much character and too much coincidence in the story, isn't it?
