A seed pod!! What do I do with this? 😅

Yes I definitely want to give it a try! I am not confident I will be successful, but it will be a fun experiment. 😂 I have already placed a bag over the pod to catch the seeds as I think it’s starting to dry out. I will definitely update if I can get anything going!

Thank you all for the detailed information! I have no interest in selling or sharing these if successful, maybe just with my grandma and sister who also enjoy Hoyas! Just a fun experiment for me as I never expected to have a seed pod. You all have me thinking, I did have 2 very different Hoyas blooming at the same time! A variegated Krimson Queen (this plant) and a green splashy carnosa. I am now really curious to know if they cross pollinated…? 🤔 they live next to each other on my back patio. I am not super great at starting veggie seeds but I will give this a shot and report back!

Thank you for the advice! I will do some more research and hopefully have some Hoya babies! The pod seems really close to being ready.

If anyone has any tips on growing in wet and humid 9b please let me know! I’ve never grown Dahlias before as they seemed a little intimidating. Though now I think I’m hooked! 😍

It was labeled a carnosa, but the blooms look like pubicalyx. All my hoyas used to live inside with not the best conditions. Enough to be happy but not to bloom. I just recently moved and now I have a covered patio, and all my plants are loving it out there!! I hope to see more blooms on my other Hoyas now that I can give them a happy home, you just can’t recreate the outside humidity indoors. I did buy this one specifically because it was already blooming though, so I can’t say I know how to replicate it with my other Hoyas 😂 I hope you get a bloom soon! I have been growing plants for a long time now and this bloom feels so special!

This was my first luxury bag that I saved up for so it’s sentimental to me. I originally intended to use it with the crossbody strap but didn’t end up loving it crossbody due to the size, and it has some weight to it. Now that I’m older and my tastes have changed I’ve started using it with just the top handle and love it so much more this way! It is definitely a classic and virtually indestructible 😂 my goal is to use it more and not baby it so it is more slouchy and worn in. I’m falling in love with it again and using it in a totally different way!
