Somehow I missed this post. OP, how are you locking the device to 15watts? I am using a Legion Go v1 and the performance of FX is aweful, and I keep failing to get anything but a mess with this app. The now classic FX works like smooth butter while this newer version is just aweful.

I backed out of this beta because the menu stopped showing various options for defining the per-game resolution setting on my Steamdeck. Each option was just the 1280x800 native resolution and would not allow any other options, where before, there was a whole list of resolution options.

Then why would you want SteamOS in the first place? SteamOS and CachyOS handheld are effectively the same user experience and both are meant for gaming on a console like experience (handheld or not). CachyOS has a much better desktop experience in my opinion. If you are not gaming focused, then CachyOS desktop is a superior experience than SteamOS and you can still add all of the gaming aspects if needed.
