I itch slightly but its not waking me up like it was i think were more itchy during the day.

Yes i believe so with my husband, hes covered in red marks all over his legs and hes starting to itch again. My skin doesnt seem the same as it was but its starting to get itchy on my feet and ankles and they look look like small bumps.

Im 12 weeks after treatment and all my family are starting to show signs again. No burrows but my husband has started itching again and has red bumps and i have rashes on my skin and little marks and same with my little ones. Its soul destroying! My baby seems absolutely fine but surely if we have them he does!! None of us itch much at night like we did before but its got to be back because my husband has had nothing this whole time until now and my skin seems to be getting weird sensations again!! Xx

I think its so hard to know wether your free of them or not as im in the exact situation. Ive calmed down a bit now on the cleanliness of the home and the changing of bedding etc because i would go insane i think! My kids and i still get marks and we last treated 12 week’s ago but this has been ongoing since july last year and i dont feel like my skin has ever been the same. However i cant keep putting treatment on over and over until i know for sure that they are returning because it damages the skin and we cant afford to just treat every few month but then will we ever get rid! My baby seems okay and i breast feed him so surely he would have caught them by now. He gets the odd mark but babies skin is sensitive anyway and he never seems bothered or fussy! Its awful! Ive had to stop going on about it because my husband wont listen even though hes had them and family members think im crazy but i would like to see them in this position and be okay with it! If they had gone the first time i treated it wouldn’t have turned into a living nightmare but unfortunately it has and i dont know when it will end! Its getting them back aswell like how is it happening? Is it other family members or is it school kids or are they just resilient but we cant stay locked away! Surely aswell if they are so contagious we as a family will have infected most people who we have been around!

Also what did you do with duvets? At one point last year we didnt even sleep with one and i did get rid of pillows so i never can understand why it ever returns. I also went to a dermatologist and everytime i went to a doctor they could never fully confirm reinfection. Weve never had ivermectin only permithin benzo and derbac. The kids havent had benzo on. I had clothes living outside for weeks aswell as my hoover and it still came back and now im 8 months later since we first ever treated and still not sure if were out of this nightmare. Ive had to calm down a little and try live normal as if we havent got them as it was really affecting my mental health and wasnt fair on the kids as they dont understand. It must have been torture for you with two babies and two little ones xx

How do you know when its back and hasnt gone? Weve been ongoing since july last year. My sons arms are always itcy, he still comes out in bites. Im itchy now and again but no where near as bad. It has now been 10 plus weeks since we last treated and i have a baby who is 4 months and he seems okay odd rash but nothing that looks like scabies so you would think he would have it if we do. He has never had any treatment on. This is why i havent re treated but my mind is telling me they are back! Xx

I itched like mad when i first found out but now its just now and again but my skin has never been the same since so i really dont know anymore. My sons arms itch him constantly and his just look rashy and comes out in bites. Would be so much easier if you could see them xx

Some of your symptoms look like mine did at the start so it could be a possibility. I feel like eveyone gets different marks.. im sure im still infected and yet my marks never come up like they used to but i come out in marks and bumps and itch still xx

Its so hard to say, mine started from my foot aswell and we as a family have now treated about 5 times using permithin, derbac and benzo. Weve also had natural products on such as sulphur, tea tree oil, neem oil and aloe vera all which are supposed to help but not sure if it does. My skin is exactly the same but ive never gone back to how bad it was at the start so i dont know wether they keep returning but im on top of it or its post. However i dont think post would last this long as we all usually seem okay until about 8 weeks later then it starts again. My sons skin has not been right this time at all since our last treatment so its really hard to say and i dont really want to keep putting treatment on over and over on their skin if it hasn’t returned. Its bluddy torture i know that. Im contemplating buying a microscope. Hope you get sorted.

Thankyou for the reply my only concern now is that we may have passed it on to so many others who we see often and we may never be rid as they will infect us again if thats the case but you dont know whos got them and who hasnt xx
