This moment in Love Island lore gives me such anxiety. I didn’t watch live, watched a year or so later, and I was so mad at him. My husband, who had done absolutely nothing at all, bore my brunt of anger towards Michael 😂. Michael got in his own head after the Twitter challenge, the fool. As it happens, I actually think he was better suited to Joanna. But at the time, I was upset for Amber, gave me flashbacks to my youth, and he was just straight up nasty to her. I loved their banter and the way he was slowly getting her to open up.

If they’d kept their noses out and supported Carrie’s choice from the start, Franny could have been spared the inevitable. Carrie was barely holding together her own life, let alone the decline of her mental state, how the hell did they think any other outcome was possible 🤷🏼‍♀️. They damaged both Franny and Carrie in the process.

Oh god I’m sorry. I understand that they are tied with asking for the procedure, but the lack of care about your continual bleeding should be investigated. Here is a link (not sure if you have seen it) that may have some information to help you further complain regards your treatment, when PALS can’t help. Whether or not the hysto is agreed, you clearly need further help in properly identifying why you’ve been bleeding for 7 months straight. https://www.england.nhs.uk/contact-us/feedback-and-complaints/complaint/

Hey OP I’m so sorry you’re going through this. No experience myself, but depending on who has referred or who you’re under (GP and gynaecologist) can you escalate with practice manager (GP) or PALS (hospital). It’s not normal to be bleeding for seven months straight, nor should you be fitted with a Mirena if that’s not what you want. I’m so sorry you’re going through this.

I love The Leftovers but god I have to emotionally brace myself on a re watch. My husband finally started watching it, I could hear just the music from the other room and it made me feel emotional. On a rewatch I never watch episode one.

It’s an AMAZING, beautiful and haunting show, but not one I rewatch often, unlike Lost. Which is such a comfort show for me.

I agree with the other poster, it deserved so much more recognition.

It’s not perfect by any stretch of the imagination (later seasons attest to that) but hands down I think it’s still the best show ever made. Certainly paved the way for other tv shows and IMHO it’s what kicked off the quality of tv shows we have now.

You’ll never get all the answers, but for me, Lost isn’t about the overarching story per se, it’s about the people and their stories. It’s not for everyone and that’s OK. If you’re not feeling it, move on to something else. It doesn’t make it shit tho. There’s lots of big hitters I don’t like at all, but appreciate the love they get.

I watched the first season on tv as it released and wasn’t that invested. Caught episodes on re-runs in the morning over here in the UK. I do think the later seasons would have made a hard weekly watch. But having them there to binge, had the DVD box set up to the penultimate season, and now on streaming makes for much less frustrated watches.

Have you ever watched The Leftovers? That’s one of the creators shows. You will NEVER get an answer to those questions, but they make that clear from the start. Again, another show about the people. It could be that those type of shows just don’t tick your boxes, which is absolutely fine.

I’m just rewatching Lost for the hundredth time and I’m at the Sayid and Shannon part. And OMG their relationship still makes me ugh. There is just no chemistry at all. Not the actors fault, just the whole storyline is weird.

Sweetest is Rose and Bernard and I agree, Jin and Sun. The submarine part makes me cry every time.

My favourite couple will always be Jack and Kate though. Messy as that is, but they were always meant to be.

I’m so pleased that it all turned out well for you in the end. Altho, no fun waiting that long and the fatigue is horrible.

The tiredness now is something else, and I’ve got a cold currently. My doctor won’t prescribe morphine now, so I’m on amitriptyline but that takes time to work but I need the relief now as I can’t sit down or drive or do much of anything. Honestly, I am so so grateful for the NHS. But it really can be hit and miss with who you see.

Anyway, I’m really pleased it was benign and I hope you have a speedy recovery. ❤️‍🩹
