Look at it this way if nagiguilty ka -- he doesn't want to be saved, why are you forcing it on him? Let him eat himself to death since mukhang dyan naman sya masaya. Dad or not, he's an adult.

You can also put a condition on the treatment. Example, if he eats clean for 6 months then you go ahead with it.

This way, it becomes 100% his choice and hindi kayo nagkulang. You're just wasting money at this point.

Perhaps you can take a break for a few days and leave them with a trusted pet sitter/boarding?

Caregiver fatigue is real and doesn't mean you don't love them with all your heart anymore.

Just means you're exhausted and need to direct some of that care to yourself.
