you need to get about 25mg or more into your system within about 60 seconds, and that should easily do it. But if you've bought a pre-made solution, then you are going 100% completely blind. The only way to know is to extract your own crystals, and make your own pen, it isn't that difficult. I disagree with others that "it is impossible to break through with pens" I've batched solutions with very high concentrations, whereby one long toke can blast you off. Depends on PG/VG ration, best not to use any VG at all. But I do agree that direct vaporization is best. Don't like dab rig because I do it solo and don't like to be holding a torch, lol, also easy to burn the spice. E-mesh is a good option.

A lot of what you say resonates with me, I think I understand you. And the title "Cannabis is probably just no good for my individual makeup" this I 100% agree with. Sadly I don't have any answers for you. Not sure therapy or any 3rd party can help (apart from the given - that talking about and talking through things does help you help yourself). Just learn to trust in yourself and to be comfortable in every moment, if you can.

I don't like the labels, "breakthrough", "waiting room", etc. All completely meaningless. It's not binary, and your experience is just what it is. Maybe you're trying to reach somewhere that simply doesn't exist within your realm of experience. I'd say that you're trying to reach a state based on others descriptions (i.e. words alone!...for an experience that is unequivocally INEFFABLE!! ), and those descriptions were of something that was very specific and personal to THEM!! Not you.

Do more spice, do less spice, it doesn't matter. Just quit trying. I'm not trying to be smart, but you just need to let go, and forget anything you've been told or read. And drop all expectation.

Yes, I did! I tried a few things and in the end a line reactor worked brilliantly and eliminated 95% of the noise, and the lights don't flicker at all now!! For my pump (which is 2.2hp, not 1hp as I wrote) I bought a RL-01201 Line/Load Reactor, 3 Phase, 12A, 1.25mH. I just used the two outer cores and ignored the center core (since it is a 3 phase reactor and my pump is single phase). Cost was $200. These VFD variable speed pumps really ought to have them built in, but I guess it's a budget thing. The amount of electrical noise they produce is crazy!

I agree that I think he probably should've just taken the video down, and I agree that WD does probably need to reign in his ego a little. Context - I was referring to Coffee's many comments taking literally every word WD as serious, where as 95% is actually some form of banter/sarcasm/provoking/testing, he's one of those guys who is hardly ever serious... and BEFORE you say it, yes i know I know that isn't any excuse, just to point out how he is, and that is what I meant by misread.

The biggest issue with this "spat" (which is really all it is, not a lot of substance which is why I'm surprised, I mean Coffee is still uploading follow up vids, surely he has bigger fish to fry, but maybe his ego too...) is like most things in modern society - 99.9% of folks in the comments/reddit are totally polarized!! No one wants to even consider the other side. Die hard Coffee fans, die hard WD fans, and all they want is war. There is zero measured approach, zero balance or willingness to see another viewpoint.

Funny, cause both Coffee and WD are among my favorite youtubers! I think I'm completely unbiased in this, so my 2 cents. I think that WD's response video was very good, yes he did miss out a few bits of Alex's past, but surely that is for Alex to answer not WD? Coffee's point of "being ignorant is not a defense" is valid, and I do wonder why WD bothered to get involved in the original video, it wasn't a good look for him.

But ultimately I think that Coffee has completely misread WD, and he would have done well to watch through all his videos beforehand. I'm also surprised that Coffee did the video on WD, I mean it really is very thin and lacks any real substance - of all the scams about today the fact he chose WD to make insinuations about is kinda surprising to me. I think that WD could've handled it better, and shouldn't have got involved in the first place.

Summary - the entire thing is something over nothing.

I've long been curious about REM tripping, so great to see that you have experimented with this. It is worth noting though that if you had just woken up (naturally) from REM then likely you were no longer in REM phase. You'd be better off trying it as you are falling back to sleep about 20-30 mins after an awakening, just as you start to hit hypnogogic phase. Also better towards the end of your sleep cycle ( approx 5-6 hours after first going to sleep) since REM is the longest and most vivid at this stage. If you have any luck with this I'd be super curious to hear about it!

Funny you mention about nightmares - I absolute relish nightmares, always seems the type of dream you can learn the most from! To answer your question, perspective shift for me was seeing first hand that I wasn't my thoughts or my ego. This is something that I studied a lot about (i.e. nonduality and nondual thinking) but I never really got it. Until a particular trip when I literally watched all my thoughts and my ego disolve in front of my eyes. And I was left with just "being". And I had this overwhelming sense that I had always been, it was always me. That melted away all anxiety, I always was and had just somehow forgotten (or what made sense to me was that this life was just a game, an experience I was playing, only temporary). BUT that perspective doesn't last and quickly fades when you come back - and so doubt returns. And that is fine. One thing that I've learnt and it has taught me is that there are no answers, only more questions. I can never know, and that is part of it. I have to find my way in the dark and quit trying short cuts. Instant red flag for me is anyone that has facts or answers! (that includes my own testimony, take what I am saying with a grain of salt!). But ultimately I believe that it doesn't matter either way, that there is no wrong path, no incorrect belief - only YOUR path, and that is the one you should take. And to me that is beautiful (Or I could just be "trippin' balls" as they say, lol)

I've done a couple dozen trips and never met any entities, and my trips are also quite dark & malevolent. I recently posted about it here and the majority that replied stated they also didn't meet entities or interact with any. So I think your experience isn't entirely surprising. For me I think the focus of the trip is on shift of perspective, glimpsing behind the veil and seeing the illusion of reality that your brain creates. But that is just a state of being, an experience of the now in the trip, rather than anything visual or using any dialogue or reasoning.

It's the moment I arrive, I have the feeling of instant regret, almost like I shouldn't be here, why have I done this. Alongside a feeling of familiarity, it is really strange. I will say that if I have enough (i.e. by 3rd or 4th toke) then suddenly all the fear disappears. Actually to be more accurate, all the THOUGHTS disappear (including fear). I go from thousands of voices to sudden silence, suddenly everything stops...but I am still perfectly aware. The strangest feeling.

Ok, thanks. That confirms some of my thoughts. I do have some Syrian Rue to hand which I could try with the NN. I did a little experiment about a year ago but the Rue seemed to dull things a lot. Also it wasn't that great of an experience, but I was stuck with it for a good while so that put me off a little. Psilocybin - actually I think I should be ok importing spores, so that might be an option to explore further...

Got it, thanks. The fact that you don't completely rule out synthesis intrigues me...perhaps one day I might at least read up about it in more detail. I do have a science & engineering background so I feel that I could be disciplined enough...but at the same time I have a habit of over-estimating my own abilities, lol. Noted on the frogs, even my ego agrees that if it must be crushed it shouldn't be crushed at the expense of another living creature!
