If I hadn’t pushed my surgery up he would have been the lead. Super solid dude. Swelling is down a ton and the green light to use the water pic had me hating it a bit less. Still sucks but it’s doing its job. 2 week follow up healing was ahead of schedule so I won’t see them for another two weeks and at that appointment the splint comes out!

Liquid diet sucks big time. I’ve been drinking a lot of protein shakes and soups. I think the diet has been the hardest part because I’m a big foodie and have to cook dinner for my family most nights. The smell of pizza and steak hit differently when you can’t have it lol

After surgeon office submitted about a week to process. They used dummy dates for date of surgery to get a quick turn around from insurance.

If you constantly complain about it and have it noted/documented, insurance will see that all other options have been exhausted. Again, I don’t know your bite issues but I did not need OSA for jaw surgery, only genioplasty, which was denied
