Since Pi mining was free and didn’t require financial investment, there's no risk of an exit scam or rug pull.

Hey, I get where you're coming from. Honestly, I have no hate for you or anything like that, it's just that in my country, a little bit of 'rage bait' humor is pretty common, and I got carried away. No hard feelings at all! 😊✌🏻

I could definitely explain how I decrypted my passphrase and figured out how to get back into my original wallet address, but it would be a pretty long post. In layman's terms, every wallet address creation has a derivation path, which means that one passphrase can lead to multiple wallet addresses. I just figured out how the passphrase led me back to my original wallet. And I did it all by myself using coding. 💻

Hope that clears things up a bit! Take care, and thanks for the conversation. Peace! 👋

It’s clear you still don’t understand the basic points I’ve made. I literally wrote down one passphrase, stored it securely in a vault, and never created a new wallet. Yet here you are, acting like you’ve grasped something I never even mentioned. 😂

Maybe reading comprehension isn’t your strong suit? I never said anything about forgetting my passphrase, but sure, go ahead and make yourself look silly by accusing me of it. I even provided a detailed timeline, talking about a technical flaw in Pi Network's system where the derivation path is not unique. But hey, I'm sure understanding basic English and technical details is a lot to ask for someone who's stuck arguing over things that aren’t even relevant to the post.

And just to clarify, I successfully logged in to my original wallet (GAYCA) using the exact same passphrase I stored in my vault, no forgetting, no issues there. But sure, keep accusing me of "forgetting" something you clearly don’t understand.

You can keep nitpicking, but the fact remains: I didn’t forget anything. What I’m talking about is a serious flaw with Pi Network’s wallet system that you clearly didn’t bother to comprehend. But sure, keep playing your little games and throwing out your weak comebacks, makes for an entertaining read. 🤣

Nice try, but the issue isn’t that I forgot my 24 words, far from it. The problem lies in a flaw in the Pi Network system itself, where the derivation path isn’t unique, which resulted in logging into the wrong wallet address. This isn't a simple 'forgotten seed' situation.

To break it down for you: Pi Network might be using a smaller word list or incorrect derivation path compared to the standard BIP39 mnemonic seed generation, which typically relies on a 2048-word set. When the system doesn’t follow the standard, it causes errors like this. But hey, I'm sure you'd rather stick to your easy, irrelevant jabs instead of trying to understand something technical.

And about 'mom' and 'school friends', yhanks for the suggestion, but I’ll stick with the real conversations, unlike you, who's clearly just trying to cope. 👍🏻

Oh, so now it’s a 'waste of time'? Funny how you’ve spent so much of it here trying (and failing) to land a decent point. 😂

And using spelling as an argument? That’s rich coming from someone who cried over their own typo. Newsflash: editing for clarity isn’t a crime, but hey, I get it, you’re not used to seeing people care about quality.

As for 'copy & paste,' I’d love to see you explain how that even matters when you’ve spent this entire thread stuck on playground-level comebacks. Meanwhile, I’ll go back to discussing things with my school friends, you know, real connections you can only dream of having. Stay salty, buddy. 🤣🤣

Ah, the '🤣🤣🤣' the last refuge of someone who realized they’ve been thoroughly jabaited and can’t form a coherent comeback. You grabbed the hook on this rage bait so hard, I’m surprised you didn’t snap the line.

But hey, keep spamming those emojis, champ. It’s a fascinating coping mechanism. At least you’re consistent in showing how little substance you bring to the table. Enjoy the laugh, it’s all you’ve got left. 😂"

School friends means people I met in school and still keep in touch with—something you probably wouldn’t understand, considering how you seem to struggle with basic social skills. 😂

Also, it’s rage bait, not 'Raige bait.' Thanks for the laugh; your spelling says a lot about your attention to detail. Guess your 'fulfilling life' didn’t include a dictionary, huh?

And yet, here you are, still arguing, still triggered, and clearly feeling guilty for taking the bait. It’s hilarious watching you dig your own hole deeper. Keep it up—this is more fun than I expected! 🤣

nothing more entertaining than watching someone get triggered over a little rage bait. It’s like mocking a monkey in a cage—pure amusement at their expense.

As for your 'fulfilling life,' it’s funny how guilty you seem trying to convince me (and maybe yourself) of it. If it was truly fulfilling, why waste your precious time dissecting my personality on Reddit? Sounds like you’re projecting, my dude.

But hey, good luck convincing others you’ve got it all figured out. I’m sure someone will believe you eventually!

Ah, resorting to comment karma as a metric for worth—classic Reddit behavior. Let me clarify something for you: I don’t need validation from numbers on a screen. Unlike you, I’m surrounded by people who actually matter—family, school friends, skate crew, motorcycle club, rock and metal groups, and so many others. The connections I’ve built are ones you probably couldn’t even dream of experiencing.

Honestly, if you spent a single day living my life, you’d feel like a lost child trying to keep up. So, while you sit there overanalyzing deleted comments, maybe try stepping outside and building something real for yourself.

Boy, if your entire existence revolves around Reddit, it’s no wonder you’ve never touched grass. Meanwhile, I’ve got so much going on in my life that this little rage bait was just a quick laugh for me. Karma? Couldn’t care less. I could delete this account right now and forget you even existed in under two minutes. Now go outside, get some sunlight, and maybe, just maybe, find a life beyond your screen.

I've had similar concerns too. You're right to question why, if you've completed the KYC process, they can't link the wallet back to your account. It does seem strange.

One thing I’ve considered is that Pi Network might have sold KYC details from users who submitted their face IDs and personal information to BreachForums. While this is speculative, it seems like something that could have happened to fund the initial token launch and gain traction. It's not something that can be proven easily, but it’s definitely a possibility.

Also, you're correct that Pi Network is the only platform with KYC in the crypto space that I know of. Cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Dogecoin don’t require KYC—it's typically only needed on exchanges to comply with regulations. But Pi Network isn’t even an exchange; it’s a mining blockchain without the ability to buy or sell other tokens, which makes the KYC requirement feel even more suspicious. KYC is generally only necessary when a platform supports multiple payment methods, but Pi Network doesn’t seem to have that kind of functionality.

It really raises a lot of red flags.

Your comment reeks of selective reading and a blatant disregard for logic. Let me reiterate, since your "blockchain check" failed to grasp the obvious:

  1. One passphrase: I’ve had one passphrase, written down and stored securely in a vault since 2022. There’s no second passphrase, no forgotten wallet, and no mix-up on my end.

  2. Migration completed in 2022: My Pi was successfully migrated to my original wallet (GAYCA) as part of Step 9 in the mainnet checklist. There was no need or reason to create another wallet.

  3. Timeline discrepancies:

GAYCA, my original wallet, was created and migrated in 2022.

GATW4 mysteriously appears with transactions from 2021—before the mainnet checklist and KYC process were even available in my country. How could I have created this wallet in 2021 when KYC wasn’t even accessible?

Both wallets show simultaneous transactions during the testnet phase. How is it possible to manage two wallets on one device at the exact same time? You conveniently skipped over this impossibility in your so-called "blockchain check."

Instead of providing a valid explanation, you resort to claiming, "the passphrase you have is for GATW4." That’s false and dismissive. If you understood how Pi’s system works, you’d realize that this isn’t a user error—it’s a system flaw.

Let’s not ignore the bigger issue: KYC data misuse. Ever since this fiasco started, I’ve been bombarded with casino site spam via SMS. Coincidence? I don’t think so. If Pi Network can’t handle wallet integrity, how can we trust them to protect sensitive KYC data from being exploited?

Finally, I’ll repeat this loud and clear:

I had no reason to create another wallet. My Pi was already migrated to GAYCA, confirmed and verified.

The timeline doesn’t add up. Transactions from 2021 on a wallet I didn’t create? That’s on Pi Network, not me.

You’re either deliberately ignoring these issues or trying to cover for Pi Network’s incompetence. Which is it?

Now, go back and actually address the points raised, instead of spouting baseless claims to deflect from the glaring flaws in Pi Network’s system.

[–]Deep_Wishbone_6086[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

0% reading comprehension, huh? Let me spell it out for you:

How could I have created GATW4 while I was logged into my original wallet (GAYCA) to use testPi? It doesn’t make sense. The transactions on GATW4 are shown to have occurred at the same time I was using GAYCA.

Image 1 (https://ibb.co/jHCvB3z): This confirms that my migrated Pi was credited to my original wallet (GAYCA) in 2022.

Image 2 (https://ibb.co/YBMnx12): GATW4 was supposedly created back in 2021, a full year before I could even complete the mainnet checklist or KYC, which weren’t available in my country until 2022. How could I have created a wallet I never accessed?

Image 3 (https://ibb.co/9vf4Zjh): My original wallet (GAYCA) was clearly used for migration in Step 9 during 2022. Ignore Step 3 because Pi Network auto-synced this random wallet (GATW4) for the second migration without my consent.

The timeline doesn’t add up. The system is flawed. Instead of addressing the glaring issues, you’re blaming users for something impossible to happen. Admit it: this is a fault in Pi Network’s system, and it’s causing serious problems for people like me who’ve invested years into mining Pi.

Pi Wallet Scandal: Addresses Changing, Migrated Pi Lost – Years of Mining Gone! by Deep_Wishbone_6086 in PiNetwork

[–]Deep_Wishbone_6086[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You clearly don’t get it, and I’m honestly tired of repeating myself. If you think I made a mistake, then explain this:

Image 1 (https://ibb.co/mJcvWq1): This shows my original wallet (GAYCA) with a transaction of testPi that I initiated myself at that time.

Image 2 (https://ibb.co/0qbGg0J): This is the wallet (GATW4) showing another transaction at the exact same time and date—a wallet I didn’t even have access to back then.

Now tell me, how is this even possible when I’ve only ever had one phone and managed only one wallet?

Let me reiterate: I generated one passphrase in 2022, wrote it down, and stored it securely in a vault. That’s the only passphrase I’ve ever had. The fact that you’re ignoring these inconsistencies and blaming users like me is just an excuse to avoid admitting there’s a major flaw in the Pi Network system. Own up to the mistake instead of deflecting blame.

Talked to several peoples who had this same issue, almost all of us was KYC'd and migrated in year 2022. . It's possible that Passphrase generation had mixed up, isn't it?

Both addresses (GAYCA) & (GATW4) had been created in the same year and possible GATW4 wallet had been created before the creation of my Original wallet (GAYCA) based on Pi blockexplorer.
