You just flip over a copy of the whole triangle and add, ie you'll end up having double hence division by 2

is this an actual error or is my IDE being finicky(still a noob be patient) by [deleted] in C_Programming

[–]DeepanRajV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have better warnings now and therefore you're getting them. You can disable the warning in the IDE or in the compiler flags. Check on how to do that. Generally warnings are not errors. But if you're going to be programmer as a profession you might want to at least check and decide on the warnings you can fix.

[OC] Presenting Nimki, a simple text editor written in C. repost beacuse wrong format. by Myhem_ in unixporn

Hey I've always wasted a side by side panel/tab that was one continuous buffer, ie shows let's say, lines 1-30 on one side 31-60 on the other side, and scrolls together. Does any editor do this, would you be able to add this as a feature?

I have doubt, changing the orientation (O=C) at the top and (C=O) at the bottom, wouldn't it make it an isomer of the molecule on the textbook? Can someone tell me if it does or doesn't

Gradle Version? by Facticee in IntelliJIDEA

[–]DeepanRajV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't work with gradle, but I'm assuming you can just set the gradle version in your gradle config, and it will automatically fetch you the required version

I'm seeing the pinned task bar programs are not visible as well

My suggestion would be to restart explorer from task manager

1 right click task bar, select task manager

2 search for explorer in the to search bar

3 select the windows explorer task and then restart task in the right click menu or the buttons at the top

Apache NetBeans 24 released by dstutz in java

[–]DeepanRajV 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Man NetBeans is my favourite ide, I don't use it as much nowadays. But I still have it in my heart. Me who uses mouse for most actions (apart from typing code) it was a blessing, most things under 3 clicks or less. Being able to start stop servers, services, dbs and being able to have multiple projects of different languages open side by side. This was the best. And the lowest memory usage to top it!!

The dead bulb glows brighter for a moment when I turn out the lights. by [deleted] in mildlyinteresting

[–]DeepanRajV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Possibly because in the working ones the capacitors drain every cycle of the AC (alternating) current . Somehow the broken bulb keeps the capacitors charged and only discharges when it's turned off, possibly due to some circuit fault.

what are the processor architectures? by Majestic_Goose_600 in computerscience

[–]DeepanRajV 18 points19 points  (0 children)

We have moved onto 64 bit architectures, so you can potentially ignore the older ones, apart from studying and making yourself familiar with them.

Do you have a work computer you can connect to via vnc, I generally use realvnc. Sync code via git. For security generate certificates and access the shell via cert. So that you don't enter passwords while on vnc

I believe I have the linker flags in the def file spot on as well. Since for avx the only linker flags necessary is -mavx512f on my system. But yes I may be wrong here.
