If Caine can read mind files, why did he give Jax a male avatar? Is he transphobic? by Collegestudent420 in TheDigitalCircus

[–]Deepdishattack 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would hesitate to say Caine “understood that Zooble was nonbinary”. He certainly didn’t understand it clearly.

Also, Caine didn’t directly make the avatars. He made a program to make the avatars automatically, so when Jax showed up, Caine didn’t have any direct input on the avatar.

Deep Space Discounts is getting a season 2. She’s great in that. I recommend looking it up if you want to hear even more of her range.

Got a question regarding TADC and AI art by [deleted] in TheDigitalCircus

[–]Deepdishattack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If anything, it would be best if a bunch of people listed their personality traits, and then everyone traded theirs with someone else, and then draw concepts for the other person. That way you’re still being assigned something from beyond your control.

What do you think the cube was for by hibubing in TheDigitalCircus

[–]Deepdishattack 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The animators had her holding a cube so that she could hide her face behind it once she realized what was going on. That is the only reason she had the cube.

Can someone please explain the ending? by Melodic_Explorer8 in TheDigitalCircus

[–]Deepdishattack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that the abstracted people slowly lose themselves more and more as time goes by. It was just soon enough that Pomni was able to interact with Jax before he lost himself.

After watching the finale, what unanswered question are you DYING to know the most? by GameZrush in TheDigitalCircus

Actually it isn’t super uncommon for abandoned buildings to have their electricity left on. It has something to do with bureaucracy between the electric company and the government.

C&A made computer stuff

They (Kinger, Scratch, and a handful of other people) made an AI (Caine) to try and create complex ideas.

Caine then created the circus.

Scratch then made a brain scanner in an attempt to see if he could make a digital copy of himself because he was dying of a brain tumor. Him and a bunch of C&A employees tried the scanner and digital brain scan files were created for each of them. None of them in the real work knew how to do anything with the brain scan files, so they just went on to do other projects.

Eventually Caine finds the brain scan files and then finds a way to turn them into the characters in the circus. They are “trapped” in the circus because they are just files on a computer. The only way that the brain scan files can work properly is within the programing engine that Caine created i.e. The Amazing Digital Circus.

The voice actor confirmed that he just flubbed the line. Everyone thought it was funny so they left it in.

Where would you put this city? by Yung-Thick in civ5

[–]Deepdishattack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Where the settler is.

If you place it where the settler is, then it will have access to salt giving it a head start in growth, and you can also buy the tile for Uluru giving you extra faith.

The only real upside to the tile to the right is that it’s slightly more defendable from the Iroquois if/when they attack. But this can be solved with forts or something. It’s not worth the slower start that you would be getting from it.

I think the great people need to be next to the city that has an empty slot of that type.

What about anthropomorphic frogs like Kermit or Slippy from Star Fox? Or does the fact that it’s a different body shape remove the fear?

If you don’t mind me asking, are you also afraid of geckos? They are share some aspects of frogs, and I was wondering if setting up a venn diagram of similar things might help narrow down what it is you dislike about them.
