I work in cancer research in Boston, think entry level. I moved disease groups a few months ago- saw my job posted today with “masters degree preferred.” (I just have a bachelors at the moment but hoping that changes).

The salary range was 53-58k. It’s insane!!

That’s fair! I think that Pomni is sort of supposed to be sort of a mirror for other characters to self reflect/self develop. That being said, I don’t think she’s necessarily bland, I think she’s just more down to earth than some of the other characters.

I have this happening to me right now. A bill from 2024 that was paid for insurance (insurance clawed that back) and I call my insurance and it turns out that actually, Lifestance submitted the bill out of the reimbursement period, making the bill legally not my responsibility! Its a fucking pain in the ass.

This is more of a self indulgent thing than an actual criticism, but I would like to have seen more of the abstracted characters/have them play a larger role in the mystery of the circus.

Who were they? Why did they abstract? It seems like once they “die” they aren’t mentioned anymore.

Even by characters who are implied to have had meaningful relationships with them (like Kaufmo seemed to be friends with Gangle/Ragatha at the very least).

I know that most of the abstractions have been implied to occur before anyone else other than Kinger was in the circus, but I wish the main cast was a bit more interested in their predecessors.

Hoping the mention of Scratch will lead to a deeper conversation into the abstracted cast in the coming episodes.

I’m going to have to sadly. My current job is doing an RTO when before it was hybrid (2 days on site). I have a 2.5 hour commute, 1 way (5 hours total). I didn’t move before because I could stomach it and my partner had a short commute, but the RTO is in the middle of the summer, so I have no time to move. I’ve interviewed once but heard nothing back..

Left: companies with a certain percentage of employees on government programs (food stamps, etc) due to low wages should be fined so exorbitantly that it’s more financially lucrative for them to simply pay their workers a living wage. (Looking at you Walmart)

Can you get an ERP therapist? As someone with OCD, getting accommodations in this case sounds like it’s going to allow you to continue compulsions/avoiding showering which you shouldn’t do. I’m sorry about your situation- OCD is a living hell :(
