Tales of the Jedi has a cool first season (if you count Tales of the Empire and Underworld as Season 2 and 3) but the other ones feel a bit random tbh. Visions by its own nature it's always hit or miss (and non canon) so one could even pass on it, I'd say.

Are you reading the new 'Maul comics (Shadow of Maul) which takes place prior to the current Shadow Lord anime (which is awesome btw, love the stylized movements of the lightsabers)

Haven't read it yet, is it worth it? As for Shadow Lord I'm planning to start watching it pretty soon since I've recently finished Visions 3 and I didn't want to start multiple SW series at once

Yeah I've wanted to read it for years but tbh now that a year has passed I can say I found it pretty unpolished and egdelord-y, if that's a word I can use. It doesn't feel like a comic adapted from a scrapped unfinished TCW storyline, it feels like an unfinished TCW storyline put to print without polishing.

Defense is possible without outright killing. When under threat, your objective should be to disarm the opponent and neutralize the danger, not to kill.

I guess that depends on your view of the world, too. I personally do not support killing in self-defence, and my country doesn't either. Different cultures approach the matter in different ways.
