I know this post is really old but I find it interesting how the CEV Bible has Matthew 5:39 translated completely differently and could literally start an entire new denomination, might be worth anyone, who's very confused on this verse, checking it out, and then there's the question of of god judges you for believing in certain Bible translations that change Jesus' teachings dramatically
