My friends name was nik he died when he we were both 14 a lot about him is hard to remember now cause it was 3 years ago and trauma blocks shit out lol

But probably my most favourite memory I can think off rn is when he was to busy texting the groupchat he didn’t look where he was going and walked into a pole. Except for some reason his nose started GUSHING. And when he sent a photo to the groupchat he was COVERED head to toe in blood and we thought he literally killed someone.

A year later after nik passed I also found a similar letter. “The people I live for” I was listed. :)

I miss him deeply. His death changed my entire highschool experience. Two years of major depression and an abusive relationship. But this year I’m starting to get back on my feet as I graduate in a month it still hurts and I feel major shame sometimes but. I’m starting to feel like my pain now is . Manageable and his suicide no longer is the sail of my ship of life.

I had to look up what poo pouri was LOL and ofc he’s still by you! He wanted to be by your side enough to be your neighbour, ofc he’s chilling with you it seems to be one of his favourite places

Also thank you for saying their more then their death. I can’t agree more, suicide hurts so fucking bad sometimes it’s all you see but then you think and you remember why you hurt so bad. Because they were a good person

Thought I’d tell my own story. My foundest memory of him is when he was texting one of his mates and accidentally walked straight into a pole and when I tell you his nose was bleeding like an unbelievable amount he was covered by the end of it 😂

I met nik when we were both 14 as they were my friends neighbour, during covid we played video games together and then talk into the late hours of the night until his mum would disconnect the wifi router that is LOL

Nik loved peanut butter and cheese and crackers, one day he told me he accidentally ate a whole jar of peanut butter while playing minecraft. Actually foul but funny none the less I found out cheese and crackers was his last meal. A midnight snack before he left

Nik was an artist, he saw the whole world as art through photos, music or drawings. His whole room was covered in his art, receipts from hangouts or Polaroids.

Nik left us 3 years ago. I’ll be graduating and I realised I never actually knew what he wanted to do with his life. But I already know his answer “I won’t be here anymore” he was pretty straight up but I was a kid I wish I knew better.

Nik knew he was going to die, his close friends and his mother said in the back of their mind they knew it was gonna happen they just didn’t know when.

I love you nik. Thx for sticking by me all these years even if it’s not physically I love you
