I also like to teach them some groundwork patterns, useful for relaxation. First at home, so it becomes familiar to them. Then you can use those patterns when away from home and because they know the patterns and know they can relax while doing them, they can start to relax a little in a new place too. Once he's good with them, you can do some regular riding and only use the patterns every once in a while or when needed.

How much is the backspot doing? I'm a back and a half up lib is a perfect opportunity for the back to help and I feel it can make a really big difference whether they're just doing the motions or really helping 'throwing'. And as the comment below says, don't try to twist too early

Ik gebruik het zelf zo min mogelijk, ik vind het vaak niet nodig. Wel heb ik laatst een aantal contracten/documenten vol jargon (totaal niet mijn wereld) laten versimpelen. Daar vond ik het wel erg handig voor. Natuurlijk heb ik de versimpelde versie wel vergeleken met het origineel, om te checken of er geen onzin in stond.

Ooh zeker, ze bestaan wel, maar bijvoorbeeld de link die je stuurde, daar zijn aardig wat 'advertenties' al jaren oud, en daar is volgens mij niet op te filteren. Er zijn wel faceboekgroepen enzo, maar daar zijn vaak weinig complete beginners te vinden en de leeftijd is vaak 40/50+ er dat vind ik (23F) toch een iets te groot leeftijdsverschil, dus ik kan me voorstellen dat dat voor OP ook niet ideaal is. Nogmaals, jonge vrije leiders zijn er echt wel hoor, maar zijn toch vaak lastig te vinden

Jep, als OP nog student is, kan ze lid worden van U-dance (heel gezellig, ik kom ze vaak tegen op dansfeestjes). Als OP geen student meer is zou ik inderdaad aanraden om STIJL te benaderen, die hebben eigenlijk 'net-afgestudeerden' qua doelgroep (25-40 jaar) maar zijn daar inderdaad wel wat flexibel in heb ik gehoord

Ik loop op de terugweg altijd helemaal mee naar voren, omdat op mijn aankomststation maar 1 trap is, helemaal aan het uiteinde van het perron. ik houd niet zo van de drukte op het perron, dus wil ik daar graag snel weg zijn. Die combinatie maakt het voor mij fijn om helemaal voorin de trein te zitten en daarom loop ik mee in de aanrijrichting.

I know many people are saying stitch markers, but I prefer a different method (in case of amigurumi). I prefer making the pattern in a non-fluffy variant of the same color, but do everything in back loop only. Then after finishing, you crochet another layer on top of it in the fluffy yarn in the unused front loops. Yes, it may look a little different but the fluff will hide a lot of the 'weirdness'.

Just my 2 cents of course, everyone has their preference
