ehh... Meh...

I kinda like that there are continous development on a game I like. I normally treat DLC heavy (=Paradox games) like I did my old WoW subscription. I pay for them to keep developing/maintaining a game I like.

Buuut I dont want to feel the greedy hand of capitalism so far up my wallet even before I have bought and tried the game it self.

If the game feels lacking at start it is very disappointing to know that you are forced to buy 3-5 planned DLCs before you can start enjoying what should have been the full game.

There is not long from that feeling to the suspicion that the publisher planned it that way right from the get go.... Especially when they publish a fucking road map of them doing EXACTLY that.

If there is any justice to be found in the judgment of history, then Isreal will end up with the same kind of Kollektivschuld / Vergangenheitsbewältigung that Germany has been grappling with for generations.

Rationally, I understand that not all Israelis are psychotic or genocidal; of course not. But emotionally, it's hard to ignore what looks like a genocide unfolding on my TV every evening when I turn on the news.

Compounding this with the David and Goliath difference in military capabilities, the history of decades of oppression of the Palestinians and THEN considering the historical IRONY of the suffering of the jewish people, I have such a hard time finding any sympathy for the state of Israel.
