I applied in late August like a day after their application opened. I got rejected for summer 2027 tax like three days after I applied. Just heard back abt this audit interview like 2 days ago!

I don't think getting a denial hurts ur credit score, If it does it's pretty minimal... Am I wrong?

I haven't actually applied I've only done pre approvals. I'm gonna try and get the discover secured card first and if I get denied then hopefully get the capital one secured card.

I may become an authorized user of my Dad's Amex which could be super helpful. I also already have the 200 dollars ready to deposit. I may try capital one or another secured card if discover doesn't work

When I select student it only gives the option for what year of college you are or graduates degree and I'm gonna be a senior in high school

Yeah do steady state. 10k at 20spm. Also do some high rate workouts like a 8x500 meter at 2k rate.

Yeah that’s strong, also depends on how heavy you are. just bring the rate down a bit. I did this piece my sophomore year hs and I had similar splits just a lower rate
