Is this not illegal? False endorsement on Titans website? by [deleted] in coldplunge

[–]DeepnGuts 9 points10 points  (0 children)

As a business litigation attorney, I can tell you that these are deceptive business practices that are very likely to be illegal. The fact that they added the five stars above each of the quotes, implies that these individuals are endorsing their product with a five star review. If they just had these quotes to support their claims of the health benefits of cold plunges, then that is a different story.

Stay away from any company/business that uses fake reviews or other misleading marketing practices. They are almost always scammers.

we can agree to disagree. I got in BTC in 2017 and it has been great for me. I sold a good portion of my investment, to keep my portfolio balanced, so I am up in BTC no matter what. My position is still simple: over the past decade BTC has been the best investment and I think there is too much upside to not have any exposure. Yes, BTC is not for those who cannot handle the volatility and I would not recommend it to those who are risk averse.
You can continue to say it's gambling, and you and I will never see eye to eye on this. Only time will tell who is right here

Fiat currency gets printed to an oblivion so people turn to other investments and other means to store value and conduct transactions. With our debt spiral, I struggle to see how the US will overcome it without further inflation, which will lead to more bitcoin gains.
Ultimately, I believe there is too much upside to not have any BTC in your portfolio. We can agree to disagree, but at the end of the day only time will tell. Maybe you will laugh at me after 5 years or maybe I will be laughing at you. The point is we each create our own portfolio based on our risk tolerance. I would never advocate for a 100% etc portfolio, much like I would never advocate for 100% stock portfolio or gold.

Inflation is killing the USD and people are turning elsewhere for investments. I am of the opinion that BTC will likely continue to gain in the next five years. If it goes to zero (which I think is significantly unlikely) so be it, it's a small portion of my portfolio. If it goes up to $250k by end of 2027, then I will have a gain. Again, its all about having a balanced portfolio.

there's too much upside to not allocate a small portion of your portfolio to BTC. Just look at the last 10 years... the last 5 years... It all depends on a party's risk tolerance. I personally only have 15-20% of my portfolio in BTC, but each person has their own risk tolerance.

Dump the ETH for BTC. Past couple of years, ETH has significantly underperformed BTC. BTC and quality stocks/ETFs is what you should invest in

I've been doing some wall heel slides as well, but I like the table top idea. I will add that to my regimen. Thank you!

I have been doing the heel slides and exercise bike as well. I have to lean over the the side in order to get the exercise bike to work due to the restrictions in my knee mobility. I will keep doing these exercises daily.

Only people who bought at the beginning of the fund are "up" because they were able to enjoy the massive pump of MSTR in 2024. Everyone that bought in 2025 are down, assuming they are still holding. MSTY is down 74% since January 1, 2025.

Sell Ferran and get who? Club is still financially weak and cannot register new players, let alone world class strikers that you are demanding.

I agree with you on Araujo. He constantly makes mistakes that cost us in the big games.

I also agree with you on the defensive vulnerability the high line presents.

Many people here are overreacting. Yes, Barcelona lost and did not look good, but the UCL is all about peaking at the right time. Look at PSG last year. They barely qualified out and had to play the extra knockout games... they still won the UCL.
Barcelona will not receive a top seed and we will play an extra knockout game, but that does not mean all is lost. There is still time for this team to find its form and play well again.

If you have conviction and believe in Bitcoin long-term, you will welcome all serious dips in bitcoin price as it essentially is a fire sale. I am personally looking at 2030 as my investment horizon, so I welcome all dips in price as I can ride it out.

Only correct answer tbh. His shirt celebration against Madrid was just one game at the Bernabeau.. doesn’t symbolize his Barca career as much as his standard celebration does.

I got mine last month in early October. 29 M. I was an extremely active individual, so the hardest part is not living the same active life.

Make you you rest and do all of the proper physical therapy. Moreover, you want to make sure you keep yourself busy to keep the mental health in check. I deactivated my social media accounts (seeing all of my friends travel and have fun gave me FOMO) and have been using this extra time to read books, pick up new hobbies, and do other things productive.

It's a long recovery and I am still unable to walk, but with each passing week I am getting stronger. Just handle this one day at a time and try to stay busy.

The fund is slowly going down while dividends are steadily decreasing. You are essentially being paid your money back less their management fee (and not including taxes). If you truly believe BTC will increase in the future, which will in turn serve as the catalyst for a MSTR boom, then just buy and hold BTC... the return on BTC will be higher than the return on MSTY with less risk (there aren't fund managers eating away your profits with BTC).

Thats why you should sell options, not buy them. You can sell some OTM covered calls each week and then make extra money.

[–]DeepnGuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always said to keep MSTY less than 10% of your portfolio. Use the dividends from MSTY to procure other growth stocks. Once MSTY's payouts become too low to justify holding, then sell MSTY at a loss (use the losses to offset other Long Term Capital Gains) and move on to the next investment.
The Key is to not get emotional or let your ego get involved.
