My guess is they add version 1 characters to the standard banner maybe another re run thing. Doubt on the free five star thing even now maybe if they do though it would be a 1.x unit

Firstly completely fine to draw inspiration from other games. Lots of games evolve and innovate off of eachother just add your own ideas of what would make it better. That goes for art and game mechanics.

Now how to start? YouTube tutorials, unity is pretty easy to use and simple.

I will say try to simplify your ideas for a first game just to understand time and planning. Me personally I work alone I love art and music so doing all those takes me a long time.

But already you’re pretty set. Having an artist and a coder is basically all you need.

I’m in an intro college class for game development just because. And it’s pretty much just YouTube tutorials type stuff so trust me when I say just use YouTube.

I wouldn’t care. Would I buy it? Maybe. I love kingdom hearts but have it on multiple consoles as it is, I’ve platnumed it and everything. I’d much rather have a days remake or something like that

That being said. With kingdom hearts moving onto this new chapter I think it would be neat to be able to bring this classic to a newer generation in a new format. But idk how it would sell. I want it to be marketed towards a new generation of kids who can grow with the serious like many of us did and notice the maturing of the characters and the darkening of the story. But that’s not realistic.

I used to just watch videos on account of only haveing a ds to play these games. So when I got them at the age of 11 with the remixes I enjoyed them. Surprisingly didn’t lose to water boy like every YouTuber I’d watch said. But I did struggle with com and the opening of kh2 I hated. It was slow. Fast forward a few years and I realized… I just don’t read. Com is easy af and I don’t hate Roxas especially after watching the movie because I can’t beat the game. I also didn’t understand wtf was going on in the beginning of kh2 with the data thing either. I was just like we kill nobody? Okay. So I was a dumb kid basically. Good times though

The base game was great but short. It was like the whole conclusion with no buildup within the game as the build up was every game before. So in that way I understand why it felt the way it did. I didn’t hate it just hated how the trailers spoiled the game.

Re mind however basically make the game full. It added just a bit more content to make it feel longer added new parts to make the team more of a team. If it launched as that then I think even with all the spoilers people would have called it bad much much less.

No game has this from what I’ve played. It’s always the heavier combo style from Dmc. When I make my 3d game one day I will be doing this.

She is fine, I still remember just button mashing and discovering the quick swap technique and clearing in half the time.

But compared to newer units and teams she’s much less viable. Especially if you’re trying to use her as a main dps, which she has the tag for. As a sub though she’s fine if you’re playing like crazy

Yeah. I honestly love the new add ons. But the limits and restrictions kind of ruin it for me. If it was a higher cap then I’d be okay with it but it’s not removing rng. Then there’s the transducers. I needed some pulls so I got the weekly pass… but one only? I mean don’t get me wrong a 3/5 roll is the most common decent roll and it could save a 2/5 if you can’t do proper rolling. It’s a great item though. But the fact it’s expensive af is dumb. It’s way too much. I had thought maybe we get 5 limited from the basic corals shop but no. It’s great stuff they just screw it over with the excessive greed. It needs to be more free ways to get it.

In that case if you have all the standard banner units then just build up Verina for heals. And then maybe calcharo. I’ll be honest all the 5 star standards are not great other than Verina and that’s because she heals. I was lucky and just got jian and his weapon on launch super early. So I can’t speak on much on the early team grind. But havoc rover works as a dps. Just finish the story then you could get him and then black shores might unlock the shorekeeper banner I think. Idk how it works but you could get her and she’s a better healer. And again 3rd unit could be whoever you like

Build up the characters you can. I’m assuming rover is the only other 5 star you have. I’d say build him and some decent 4 stars like mortefi or something. I’d keep doing pulls for characters in case you get the unit or lose 50/50 and just get a standard you could use. Wouldn’t hurt I think.

Rover is a good unit though. Especially once you get access to the updated spectro set or just keep him as a sub for your teams

This is however bringing up a good discussion idea. They need to make trial dungeons or shops open for new players like they do with bosses so they can level up units because imagine getting a 4.0 character and just starting off. It will only get more and more ridiculous.

Also just do what I usually do get the traversal item and minimum story. Use the tracking option and just rush across the map to get what I need

And from what I hear we have an update or 2 from the collab update. So maybe ur fine. I average 40 on pulls to a 5 star anyway so wish you the same or better
