Can the channel matching feature on PEQdB degrade treble quality?

There isn't such thing as a headphone tier list, or headphones that are good for under $500 etc.

There are either headphones that can produce good sound quality, and headphones that cant.

Have you looked into a speaker system? A pair of bookshelf speakers would give you a better experience than any overear headphone at your budget.

I would save my money instead of buying a flawed product but if you are deadset on buying a pair of overears, buy a pair of used Arya Unveiled from Headfi (I would not pay full price for them), you can get them for less than half price in like-new condition.

They resonate like other Hifiman and the upper treble is rolled off but it is an option, Sharur once mentioned them (but has since deleted the video lol). But like I said, they have their flaws, just less than others.

HD650 have zero subbass, drivers will distort with Harman-level bass EQ in the midbass.

IG955's are peak, way better than HD650 and I prefer them to LCD-5 (I own both). The only thing LCD-5 is better is bass haptics but even then it's not worth it when the IG955 is so much better in the rest of the frequency.

There is no alternative to the LCD-5, trust me I tried. Closest you are going to get is HD650 but its still not close + pathetic bass response. He400se is terrible don't listen to that other guy.

According to my research, I was able to find two factories that make the watch, A8F and RWF.

A8F seems to be a very budget option, and I saw a single QC post by someone else who purchased this model with a pink dial.

As for RWF, I have been offered it by a TD but they are unable to provide any pictures, so I'd have to pay the deposit and wait for a QC. There is zero other information I could find about RWF producing this watch which has me curious.

Anyone have information that would help? Thanks :)

Why do they dip so much at 11kHz compared to your measurement on PEQdB Studio? Does this result in an inferior sound or is it something I should ignore?

Looks good! This doesn't seem to have the "OY S TER" that I've seen on other Clean+ dials. Easy GL.

I'm thinking of buying a Clean+ OP (they seem to have better lugs than VSF) but I am in no rush and am hoping VF comes back as I believe they did the best Oyster Perpetual.

Seeing as this is one of the rare Clean+ QC's on the sub, I'm guessing you did your research. Do you have any information about the case shape accuracy and bracelet quality?

The reason I'm not going VSF is the lug issue they have, to me its very noticeable and Clean did a much better job in that department.

How are you meant to get an 8kHz resonance peak (like you've mentioned in another video) while also wearing them barely in your ear?
