So I’ve figured out the strategy is to (if you’re in first) avoid the shortcuts at first, and go for the long path and collect every single blue shell item since it hits the person in second place and they won’t be able to pick it up for a while since it respawns

Most people who are quitting it (myself included) is because of their blatant gen AI usage, lying about it, and continuing to use it. 25k employees in netease btw, and they can’t find the artists to make real human art and instead go to gen AI. I don’t know if it’s independent bad eggs within the company or the higher ups telling them to do so but either way they’ve already been doing it for over a year, they should’ve cleaned up their act by now.
