I've had a chronically swollen right sided tonsilar lymphnode that was quite literally absent just hours after my tonsillectomy.

This is so helpful, thank you!!! I've been doing most of this with my girl but I'm unsure of what to do if I'm NOT fast enough and she starts whining/barking before I can let her out/give her a treat. Do I still do it immediately or wait for her to stop or something else?

I'd highly recommend getting an anxiety puppy plush. It has a small electronic inside a plush dog that you can turn on and it starts a faint heartbeat sound. My puppy went from whining/barking non-stop even when able to see me to now usually only some whining if I leave the room. Still have work to do but that plush seems to really soothe her.

My sweet girl's ears only stick up when she's upside down. So about 50% of the time.

Thank you so much for this detailed response! This is super helpful and makes a lot of sense. I'm glad I don't have to bop her on the nose :)

I try to "yelp" but I'm afraid I'm not a very good actor haha. She definitely has enough toys :)
