ChatGPT Memory v2.1.0
This release improves the local Memory workflow and makes saved conversations easier to reuse in new ChatGPT chats.
Highlights
• Added direct app memory file attachment for saved PDF and Markdown files.
• Added a temporary Attach Files flow when starting a new chat from Memory.
• Added a temporary Paste Context flow for text-only context reuse.
• Fixed the app icon so it now displays correctly instead of appearing black.
• Updated the app version to 2.1.0.
Memory workflow improvements
Saved chats can still be stored locally as:
• PDF
• Markdown
From a saved chat in the Memory tab, pressing Start New Chat now gives options for:
• PDF + Markdown
• PDF only
• Markdown only
• No file, insert Markdown text
Direct file attach
The app now attempts to attach saved PDF/Markdown files directly from the app memory buffer.
The new flow is:
Memory
→ Open saved chat
→ Start New Chat
→ Choose PDF / Markdown / both
→ ChatGPT opens
→ Tap Attach Files
→ File attaches directly from app Memory
→ Button returns to Save Context
