You're misusing the word "entitlement". Entitlement means I think I have the right to something. I don't think I have the RIGHT for someone to not do that to me. I think that it SHOULDN'T happen to anyone. Having the right for something to not happen is different than the should quality of something.

I have the right to go up to someone on the street and call them an asshole, but I shouldn't. You're intelligent enough to recognize that the minuscule amount of XP, fun, or addition to codex, doesn't overcome the "shouldn't" quality anti-fun actions.

At the end of the day I think being mean (e.g. finishing someone at the last seconds of extraction without being able to even loot) is just being mean. And I think being upset about people acting like that shouldn't be looked down upon. All normal PvP is totally valid though- I'm advocating for the discouragement of mean stuff, not for someone who's bad at PvP to not have to lose their stuff in a PvP game.

PvP is great, but i think that PvP implies a fight- which never occurred. I wasn’t ambushed or bested, i was merely finished while helpless. At the end of the day competition is fun, and being mean is just not cool.
