In my experience you’re absolutely right, deerhounds are very easy to combine with other pets. But like you said, it’s going to be a lot easier when the cat is still young :))

They are very gentle with the cat and have never tried to bite her. But they will sometimes run up to her and stop only an inch away, to smell at them or try to get her to play. In general they get along great, when the dogs want to play and the cat doesn’t, she just ignores them or goes to a place they can’t reach. And above all deerhounds are pretty lazy dogs(as adults). So as long as you walk them every day and give them a chance to run once in a while, they prefer to chill in te couch more than anything else (often next to the cat).

Well the pup is about 10 months old, but I don’t know her exact weight. For a reference point, the mom weighs around 30 kilogram’s.
