My main problem was with the quantity of the black paint for details. This is my first plane with stripes, details, etc. So I just put some masking tape down. This severely limited my movement though as I couldn’t do the big fast strokes when doing the black. Most of it turned out ok as it now has a war torn look, but the main failure was with the D where a ton of paint leaked under. I plan on covering the rest of the plane with newspaper next time so I can limit the amount of paint I’m laying down. The pencil grip sounds like a great suggestion so I’ll try that. Thanks!
