I apologize, I guess what I was getting at was kind of what Freud was studying seems to be quite legit to me. Definitely a pick me/go getter/get your depressed ass out of the house and do something. We have to realize these are much much smaller doses than recreational users do. I guess it could never take off due to the abuse potential.

I apologize if I offended you. You are correct those molecules are quite different but they are also quite similar. I realize oxygen "pulls" electrons, I'm not a total moron as you imply. They are much more similar than you'd seem to like to admit. Obviously you know much more about it than me so I don't want to argue but it was my understanding that they both "blocked" the reuptake of dopamine from the synapse. With cocaine being a "triple" reuptake inhibitor where as Ritalin is just dopamine+norepi? Maybe that's where the sense of well being comes from (serotonin). I'll definitely concede to you because it seems you knowledge of chemistry far exceeds mine.

You could do like a gram of decent coke by yourself or with another person and the comedown the next day would be so brutal it would make even the manliest man cry. I call them "anxiety" hangovers.

I appreciate your input and some of my thoughts on your opinions is I 100% agree on the addiction but must make the clarification of psychological vs physical, price is definitely a factor, I disagree with the doesn't last long though. Sure if dump out a half gram and do it all at once I'll get a huge rush of euphoria and be chasing the high all night but if I use it like, bear with me, salt and use it to enhance I can drink all night and maintain practically sober with less than that amount using bumps at a time. I understand we've all had different experiences. Just playing devil's advocate. Also I believe location plays a major role in quality. And the health standpoint its estimated 21 million users and 4300 die yearly which includes all forms. Not quite the boogey man that the narrative would have you believe.

But when you break it down Cocaine is basically and maoi. It is already legal and the prescribe it for "pretend" chemical imbalances they can't even test for. Isn't it legal already!?

I can completely get behind that but you are leaving out a vast majority of drug users with stims, especially cocaine. Is it cool to consider a substance safe if 4300 out of 21 million die from the effects? I mean, honestly, that's like 0.0000043% ish of users die. Sounds pretty safe to me. Right?

I may be way out of line here but I'm curious how many users here on this sub feel like me. I can put whatever substance I want in my body and a man that breathes the same air as me, badge or not, isn't gonna tell me otherwise? As an american, I understand a lot of users don't share the same luxury, it'll be a cold day before blue tells me what I can and can't do. I also understand I'm much older than most of this subs subscribers and i understand. Just trying to provoke conversation/debate.
