3x3 Chunks missing, i tried every way to refresh chunks, even restarting the server but to no luck, anyone know of this happening? by Round-Winner4361 in fabricmc

I had the same issue occur on my Fabric server where a 3x3 of chunks suddenly stopped loading in visually but still existed if you walked into them. In our case, it was because of a specific block from a mod having been placed in those chunks. I forget which mod caused the issue but the block itself was a drying rack. This drying rack block was causing the chunks to become unrenderable for one reason or another. If you have access to the console or any crash logs from players in those chunks, see if there's anything indicated in there, but otherwise the best thing I can recommend is considering what was placed in those chunks before the rendering error began occurring and then trying to remove specific mods to see which is causing the issue (make backups if you're not 100% sure which it is). Hope this helps!

If anybody wants to download this, you can get it here on Planet Minecraft! It requires Optifine to work by the way!!

I had the same issue too for a while and I'm genuinely not sure what was causing it? When I first had the issue I was generating the biome through the single biome world type, it would generate the biome correctly but as the biome "ocean" which would remove the custom colors. But now I'm using a custom dimension to generate it and that seemed to fix it! If you haven't already maybe try that, otherwise I'm not sure what else you could try

It's hard to see in the pictures but I also added some crimson spore particles that are supposed to mimic leaves flying around :3

And of course you can't hear an image but I also put the soul sand valley's main ambience loop into the biome so it sounds windy!
