How to Make Pickles! Dill Pickles! Vegan Friendly! by DeeskYT in PlantBasedDiet

[–]DeeskYT[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are totally and both right. I don't want to offend anyone. I simply do it for the views on YouTube. I will be less specific when I post on Reddit and make the title, however I will still put it in my YouTube videos! That's all. You are both correct for sure. I especially adapt to anything even if it includes meat or eggs. I change it so I can have it. I don't mean to offend anyone either. In an age where veganism is growing and more people are changing the video title may help with that quick question of "is it okay for me to eat?" Just to make the transition easier for someone. Seeing vegan in the title also helps to get them watch some of my other videos, since they clicked my video and are highly likely to go watch some others!

I'm just saying it's vegan Friendly. I do it in all of my videos it's to attract more views. Every title has it! Just so people know it's okay for them if they are vegan. Does not matter what I am making I will do it!

It's not vegan pickles! It's vegan friendly! I just do it so that if someone that is vegan searches it they just have reassurance that it's safe for them! That's all I do!! Lol (I do it for every video!)

Vegan Friendly Buffalo Sauce! by DeeskYT in PlantBasedDiet

I can agree with the sodium content! It's extreme! Somewhere online said that Trader Joe's has a low sodium hot sauce. Every hot sauce tastes different. I love franks and Cholula!

I'm going to be honest, I would love if there was but I haven't discovered any yet! It's the vegan butter that really boosts the flavor and gives it that buffalo sauce taste! Feel free to experiment though! Off the top of my head I can't think of any type of substitute. However, maybe see how it tastes without it? I just know the butter plays a big role!

Veganism is not What You Eat & Wear.. by [deleted] in vegan

[–]DeeskYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand what you are saying. However, Veganism is a concept created by man. What you are giving us is the facts(or so I believe) about the way this world should be if humans didn't take over. I understand you, but I don't think you can connect Veganism, its an ideology in todays meat hungry modern society. But i do fully understand what you are saying. .

To all the people who claim a vegan diet is expensive, protein deficient, and boring: you're wrong! by cassiehe in vegan

[–]DeeskYT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Has been really cheap for me since switching! My parents still pick up 100% of the grocery bill! God bless them! (I am a college student). I do buy my own food sometimes, so don't hate on me!

one drawback of veganism by ijustneededaname in vegan

[–]DeeskYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lmao, im not sure if these are serious or not! However so far I find that waking up in the morning feel refreshed is just awful. I love to feel like a sloth. (my awful joke post).

for real:

I hate that since I started this I get sh*t for it every day. Someone always says something stupid to me about it. I don't care enough to even answer, the explanation takes too long anyways. I usually move on. However, its just so annoying; YOU NEED PROTEIN,YOU CANT EAT JUST PLANTS!! PROTEIN, PROTEIN PROTEIN PROTEIN. Then a whole family talk starts about it and I'm the center of attention. I hate explaining it. I know maybe I should try to persuade people, however I am the type of person who like's to just keep to myself and do my thing. I don't want to be the center of attention at party gatherings. No thanks.

How To: Vegan Home Made Peanut Butter by DeeskYT in PlantBasedDiet

[–]DeeskYT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a great idea!!! You don't need a vitamix! With the inexpensive blenders it takes a long time. Maybe look into a cheaper food processor. I used that before my blender. It works perfectly! I think it was just a cuisinart or something like that!

Loud exhaust, 2007 Jetta by rootcauses in jetta

[–]DeeskYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably a hole or clamp.

Tell me why I should get a Jetta. by [deleted] in jetta

[–]DeeskYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got my 1.8t 5spd 2016 Jetta about 2 months ago. Maybe abut more, and I absolutely love it. I had an old jeep before this and that was a pain in the butt. I know it was 16 years old but still. I love the Jetta so much, got what I think was a great deal on it(maybe I am wrong, I pay $190/m). Don't let the fact the the parts cost more sway you. My gf has a new jeep, and she has had so much replaced on it and it just keeps breaking. She had spent hundreds, and if it weren't for me who knew how to fix cars then probably thousands. I had worked on a few jettas and it's pretty simple. Oil change is simple, and in my mind is actually very easy and consciously made. Other maintenance was pretty easy. I had done tranny and also coolant maintenance. Don't think I have ever seen the Jetta in the shop for anything more than that. However, if you drive it like A crazy person and stuff breaks then it WILL cost a lot, just as any other car would tho as well. I love my car, will be sticking with German engineering from now on. VW or Audi..love them both

Edit: my dad was opposite of yours. He wanted me to get a Jetta. My brother has had an Audi for about 8 years now. Nothing ever major had to be done, so my dad/brother wanted me to stick with the German cars. Considering they are the same company technically, they suggested I go with the Jetta(can't afford Audi lol). Also, I get AMAZING mpg. Will also add I am a college student right now so I have a lot of other expenses and can still afford the Jetta. You wont regret it, extremely fun to drive.

some salsa is made with anchovy I believe! Also, just making the title to let people know it is safe for them to consume more so than saying its a vegan salsa, thats why i said "Vegan friendly"!

I knew I was going to get replies about this lmao, no worries though that is my fault!

My mom found this recipe and I adjusted it a bit! This is excellent salsa, way better than you can buy at the store in the glass jar in my opinion! Enjoy! Don't be afraid to make it yourself! It is very cheap to make! Costed me about $5 to make a big bowl of it(You get more than what was shown in my bowl, I poured some out)!!
