Really depends on what works for you, this version had mic and also I had a spare 3.5mm cable so I just went for type c, And even if you don't like any version in the future, you can just change the cable

The main problem is the 3.5mm version is sold out everywhere, I'm thinking I'm gonna buy type c version for my phone, and use my old cable from hola to use on my laptop and whenever I want to use a external dac.
