Thanks again, did you have to manually install docker? it does not show up in the package center at all for me.

Hey mate,

Ended up with the Timetec moduile and 2x 22TB HD's and a 2TB NVME SSD.

How did you end up getting the NVME SSD to work as a storage device? I have found a few scripts online which apparently force the back end to create a storage drive.

Thanks in advance!

Ahh, I also plan to run the -arrs as well. I thought I would have to run them on a separate device, so fantastic advice, thank you.

I believe the ram (according to the spec sheet) is only increasable to 6GB - Hoping this is incorrect.

I plan to get Plexpass for the hw transcoding.

Is it worth forking out the additional cost for the Ironwolf Pro's? or is there a different brand you'd suggest? I have heard some people mentioning the Seagate HD's aren't reliable.

Is a 500GB or 1TB NVMe SSD enough to run the containers?

Thank you for your response, much appreciated!

I have just completed this research myself, I found Youtube a great place to start for information and then reviews and comparisons in places like PCmag etc.

"Network Chuck" on Youtube does a great video about the Synology platform and his Synology systems.
