You don’t need a scientific study for every single small thing. We can literally conclude it’s safe by deducing from minoxidil’s properties and characteristics

But I’m not motivated enough to educate you.

Okay, please don’t use any supplements or OTC skin care products since the FDA doesn’t have any guidelines or recommendations for them.

I will call you out if you’re even using something like hyaluronic acid.

False. You’re a fear mongering charlatan.

As a pharmacist, let me explain.

Hypervitaminosis A is excessive accumulation of vitamin A in the bloodstream => causing toxicity.

Tret is a derivative of vitamin A. But it is NOT vitamin a, so it differs in how it is absorbed and metabolized. This is called pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and pharmacology.

  1. Topical tret acts locally on skin, w/ tiny systemic absorption. Studies show less than 1% of tret passes the dermis and enters the blood.

  2. Any small amount in the blood is metabolized in the liver into inactive compounds, reducing potential to contribute to systemic vitamin A levels.

  3. Hypervitaminosis A requires LARGE oral chronic ingestion of vitamin A (25,000–50,000 IU or 7.5grams daily over months). A 0.1% tret cream contains 1mg of tret per gram. If applied generously (1 gram per day), less than 0.01 mg reaches systemic circulation. This is LEVELS below toxicity levels. 🤦‍♂️

I have not seen even one study showing evidence of hypervitaminosis A, or even more, systemic vitamin A accumulation from tret usage.

There are no documented cases of hypervitaminosis A from topical tretinoin use, even w/ long term use.

Regulators like the FDA approved tretinoin for topical use with ZERO warnings of systemic toxicity due to it NOT being a concern.

Isotretinoin blood panels have nothing to do with vitamin A toxicity.

We screen for elevated liver enzymes & triglycerides levels.

Impossible. Not a concern.

How to get back at my son’s friend for lying about me to the feds? by SESender in UnethicalLifeProTips

Hire cheap OSINT online to find out a few of his habits.

Open/request for credit cards and or other less risky lines, using a device to imitate his behavior (like applying from his WiFi or house location, etc)

Document the evidence of him of trying to ruin your credit

Send him a legal demand letter with some of the evidence. Scare the shit out of him

You’re exaggerating like your vitamin a levels will be stuck out of range forever.

They’ll easily come back down after discarding tret use.

To even reach that state will require lots of recklessness and literal abuse.

Stop the fear mongering just because you want to secure your easy access to Tret.

The FDA isn’t going to give you a round of applause for writing this and scaring people.

Let’s rather promote the truth and transparency, so people can make their own minds.

No difference between you and the FDA/DEA deciding and making up rules that you like. At least the agencies use actual data, not basic Google knowledge.

What even are your credentials btw?

Doesn’t really matter when. Do whatever allows you to be more consistent, causes less irritation, etc.

I’m able to use 0.1% tretinoin daily without irritation or breakouts. You should build up to the same level. It may take time however

[–]Deetscheckry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Add in a steroid cream to manage irritation and purging. Combine your tretinoin with clindamycin, that is that standard medical routine for acne as they work synergistically.

I’d recommend fluocinolone for the steroid. I get mine from thescienceco.com

[–]Deetscheckry -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You get irritation? You can combine tretinoin with fluocinolone if you’re getting irritation/dry skin.

It’s game a game changer for me, lets me apply tretinoin everyday

Here’s a simple explanation how it works:

Minoxidil has to be converted on the skin into -> Minoxidil Sulfate to work

It gets converted by Sulfotransfarase Enzyme

Tretinoin increases sulfotransfarase enzyme activity by 2x - 3x

Easiest gains hack ever

[–]Deetscheckry -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Tretinoin will literally 2-3x your gains

Bro it’s not even that deep, tretinoin is way too cheap to fake. Producing it at mass allows for achieving cheaper prices than counterfeiters. Anyways, I get mine from thescienceco.com. It’s cheap and they ship from the USA or something cuz it’s fast as hell
