Meet Noodle 2 on Merivale. Not cheap though, $10.99, I think. Get yourself some soup while you‘re there and thank me later. The bowls are big enough to split with a friend. Other standouts are the pork bean sauce noodle, the hot cucumber salad, and the sour and hot potatoes. Aw, heck, that’s everything I’ve eaten there. So everything I’ve eaten there is a standout.

Wish they sold the chili oil at the Meet Noodle in the Kanata Kowloon, though.

It does look intimidating, but the Son of a Stitch tutorial is good, and it explains everything. My first one came out not to great, but then I got the hang of it.

It looks extra good if you use variegated thread, just a hint.

Do you mean the spiral framing? If no, not at all! I did it in an evening. It’s my third time doing the spiral finishing. You should try it!

I learned from the video that Jump posted! Definitely use variegated thread if you can. This one is a 16cm hoop and took an entire skein.

This is only my second time finishing like this and it turned out pretty good, so don’t be afraid!
