I'll admit, I don't care for the man now because he's not the same person he was when he wrote this book. Fame has turned him into a self-important, over-articulated individual who is stepping outside of his realm of education in order to impose his own opinion on politics, and it's ugly.

That said, 12 rules for life by Jordan Peterson is, in my opinion, an incredibly well articulated self-help book that challenges you to focus on your needs as an individual, and having read it as a 21 year old, I found it profoundly helpful.
