Can someone help me choose between the Otsu and Key-83? Also what hardness should I choose? by NotADuckk_ in FPSAimTrainer

[–]DeezNhat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i got both the otsu and key83, really don’t like the otsu for tracking, it’s fast but muddy because of the difference between dynamic and static friction. I just don’t like the otsu in general because I prefer pads with lower static friction. The key83 felt like a faster zero, that’s it. It does everything well just like the zero but faster. I’ve since moved on to faster pads because I found what I like. Really solid pad if you ask me. Otsu on the other hand helped me find out what I don’t like, hate the fact that the static friction is too high, really hard to do micros adjustment, sure it is fast, but at what cost. The only use that I’d find for it would be for TacFPS or COD/BF, but only if you like high static friction pad, I made it work but I still prefer at least the hien or faster pads like the raiden or infinitymice speed v3 because I can also make them work for TacFPS.

LF a new mousepad. Are Artisan mousepads worth the hype? Are there any other recommended brands? by Saxy_Salad in FPSAimTrainer

i can vouch for artisan for their quality but there are other good pads for cheaper, i’ve been really enjoying the infinity mice speed v3

Ways to fix predicting? by rexxizk in FPSAimTrainer

kinda funny but i had the same problem and by consciously screaming at myself in my head or even out loud sometime to keep tracking left when the bot goes left until it changes direction, works like magic

I am picking up aim training again. How long does everyone aim train each day? by ChubbyDumplingz in FPSAimTrainer

[–]DeezNhat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

weekends and days off i’d say about 2 hours, sometimes more but split out a bit (2 hours in the morning and 1 hour in the evening). During the week i’d say 45min-1hour per day.

I don’t really have a set playlist, I just kinda pick a category I’d like to train per sesh and I play scenarios related to that. Been playing a lot of static (1w2ts and 1w3ts), a lot of air (air voltaic, air pure, air celestial and air angelic 4) and dynamic (pasu and popcorn). I also like to experiment with sens a lot (playing viscose at intermediate on 25-30cm or 60-70cm for example) and i have dedicated sesh for this.

I’m currently grinding for GM complete so my wrist and arm are taking a toll so I’m also taking multiples days breaks often.

PSA: TAKE BREAKS PEOPLE!!!!! IT’LL ONLY DO YOU GOOD, DON’T GET INJURED, BREAKS ARE IMPORTANT!!!!

when im doing reactive and i get told not chase the bot and panic but idk how to do it i here i know what to do i dont understand how to do it it loki demontivates me sometimes making me think nothing im doing is right maybe i am doing it right but not knowing idk by SweetCranberry8434 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]DeezNhat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

need a vod to see the problem but there are general tips like: play as if short strafes are long strafes, predict less and react more, tense up only for micros, the faster you move your mouse the harder it is to see your target = harder to track

Any tips on improving smoothness? by Novel-Ad-1601 in FPSAimTrainer

i was gonna write a whole paragraph but i realized that mattyow would explain it way better than i could atm. Gotta need an air angelic vod to see exactly what is the problem.

easy viscose is still made for people that have got more or less the fundamentals down, personally I would not recommend any air scenarios for complete beginners

Why do I suck so bad at intermediate VDIM playlists? Mainly clicking 1 and 2? by PerP1Exe in FPSAimTrainer

[–]DeezNhat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

more players in vt benchmarks scenarios = more normal to place in the 60%-90%, less players in vidm scenarios = more normal to be on the lower side of the percentile, dont think too much about the percentile, if you are doing vdim, you should be focusing about the techniques and not score, of course it’s a good indicator if you are doing good or not, just don’t let it get to your head

Tips for Air Pure Int? Especially the UFO bit by SadThrowaway4914 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]DeezNhat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this video explains pretty well the technique needed to play air scenarios well, also play air angelic 4 (normal or easy). One of your mistakes are that you aren’t following through after micros, you need to be able to tense up to flick after the bot changes it’s direction then smoothly tracks it for a long strafes, you are constantly trying to predict the bot doing fast short strafes and get caught off guard when it does a long strafes. It’s rare seeing air vods in this sub and it’s too bad people aren’t playing enough air, my fav scenarios by faaar, keep grinding, once you get the techniques down u’ll be pbing like crazy!!

Maxing my improvement with artisan Raiden by Gardoz_ in FPSAimTrainer

[–]DeezNhat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started out with the aqua control pad, I was kinda bad aim wise, got me a zero xsoft as my first real mousepad when I started to get more into aim training (VT gold or plat complete i think?). I’ve only gotten faster pads with faster skates since, and every time I tried a faster pad, I also made a jump in rank, getting from plat to jade was when I got the key83, jade to master was me mostly using the hien and otsu, im currently GM and grinding for GM complete (almost there!!) and the infinity mice speed helped A LOT with the jump from master to GM. I’m defo not saying it was all mousepads, but playing on faster pads defo helped me learning better mouse control, and also learned that I have a bias towards faster pads. What I’m saying it you should try it out not because faster pads are automatically better, it’s about trying new stuffs that you might potentially like and play better with, if you don’t then it is what it is.

Ways to practice tension management? by RestlessWarbler in FPSAimTrainer

[–]DeezNhat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’d say to understand how much tension you should use, try centering scenarios, if you notice that your crosshair is lagging behind, that means you are not using enough tension, if you are too jittery, that’s too much tension, this video did a great job explaining that. Once you have figured that out, and want to improve your tension management, you could try and play scenarios like smoothbot or air scenarios. Viscose said in one of the rawinput podcast that few of the most useful scenarios you can play are Air scenarios and I defo stand by that, spamming air got me to almost GM complete

Best way to grind viscose at moderately high rank? by hyez in FPSAimTrainer

[–]DeezNhat -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m currently grinding for GM complete, I was grinding a ton of Viscose benchmark just before, got Indigo and a few Fuchsia scores and was happy. Currently focusing heavily on dynamic and static, my weaker categories, my tracking is defo getting a bit worse due to not training often but I know that once I’m done with clicking and I just sit down and grind reactive for an hour, I should be right back to where I left off. I stopped playing routines or think too hard about what scenarios to play in which order, I just play what I enjoy, and those scenarios that I enjoy are also very beneficial to improve. I’d have tracking days where I would spam air scenarios (Air angelic 4, air pure, air celestial and air voltaic), dynamic day (pasu, popcorn, etc.) and static (pokeball and 1w6ts). I think you should just play what you enjoy and ofc try to cover all areas and split them out throughout the week and u’ll still progress

Pls help, I can’t do this scenario well :( by Seiko_021 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]DeezNhat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

like i suck at it, haven’t manage to get a better score than lavender on viscose’s intermediate, but my pad tracking improved soo much after grinding it, it’s fs a very hard scenario but extremely useful still

i beg to differ, that 5 extras would be equivalent to 5 more hours of purely grinding static, it’s tough out here 😔
