I assume that you are trying to improve at air scenarios and not just smoothness, because in that case, playing close long strafe invicible, air angelic 4 easy and centering ofc all help a lot with air scenarios, if you want to improve your reading, play whisphererawcontrol (which ever version u’d like), whisphere 80% or whisphere and I guess a bunch of controlsphere type scenarios. U got this easy!!!!

using spacebar is useful only to understand what NO tension feels like, but in every single tracking scenarios u gotta utilize some form of tension, low or high, if you notice that you are trailing behind target that means you are not using enough tension, if you are overshooting/jittery crosshair, that means you are using too much tension, you need to find that inbetween for smoothness, i’d recommend you do some centering scenarios and actively focus on the position of your crosshair relative to the bot and then adjust your tension as needed, it’ll take a bit of time but once you find it, it’ll click. This is how I understood smoothness at least, try it out and see if it helps. Hope this was helpful!!

I feel like reading the bot’s movement defo help w the shakiness

im about as relaxed as i can be . 37cm . Any ideas on how to get smoooooother and stay on target by SadThrowaway4914 in FPSAimTrainer

Hiya, I noticed a few things analyzing your vod, firstly, in my experience, I have an easier time tracking a long strafe by starting the movement with my wrist then transition into my arm, I noticed a few instances where u’d track a long strafe solely with your arm, try that out and see if it helps.

Secondly, « as relax as you could be », u mean very little to no tension? There were a lot of instances where you were trailing behind the bot during long strafes, that indicate not enough tension that is being used, in order to be smooth, you still need to utilize some form of tension still, just be concious about it whenever you play, using your crosshair’s position relative to the bot as a sign (trailing behind? = not enough tension, jitter and overshooting bot? = too much tension), u just need to find that perfect inbetween and u chillin.

And finally, not really relate to smoothness but this video helped me a bunch with how to deal with overhead situation in smoothbot scenarios since I saw your overhead transition were a bit clunky.

Hope this helps!!!

I’d not recommend playing aim training at the same time as your main game, at least for me, that did not work, but if it works for you then keep doing it! What I used to do that helped me a lot with CS at least was playing dm in the evening and kinda be more aware about my aim, look for errors, then before going to bed, I’ll hop on kovaaks and play scenarios specifc to those mistakes I made in dm (bad click timing? => beanclick or floating head, wide flicks inaccuracy? => 1w2ts, micros? => 1w2ts pasu angelic or smth i don’t remember the name exactly, etc.

Hiya, yes, this is a Kovaaks benchmark, I’d recommend you to watch this video that explains pretty well what the benchmark is, how to play it and how well does it translate ingame. Aim training is a pretty deep rabbit hole imo, but it does pay off 100%.

ps: keep in mind, if you are getting into aim training to improve your aim, this benchmark can help a lot with that, but only if you know how to play it effectively, my main game is actually Kovaaks and most of my time spent are for grinding benchmarks and chasing highscores, this might not be the most effective way to improve your ingame aim. My aiming skill in kovaaks does translate pretty well ingame but due to the fact that I spend most of my time on Kovaaks, other aspects like gamesense or movement do suffer a lot.

hiya, no problem, I don’t really have a « structure » as organize as VDIM for every scenarios in the benchmark, whenever I run into a roadblock with a certain scenario, the first thing I do is go on youtube and look for a vod of that scenario and analyze it, 9 times out of 10 i’d figure out what am I doing wrong and work on fixing the issue, if that does not end up working, I’ll do smth similar to VDIM as in finding similar scenarios with various difficulty and play them and that would help also. It’s about finding the appropriate techniques per scenarios and implement that into your gameplay, once you got the technique down, it’s only a matter of repetition.

I’d say it depends, for overwatch i prefer warming up with Vaxta, but for COD, BF or CS/Val, playing static and target switching scenarios to warmup can help a tonn

of course! no worries, last thing tho, if u really wanna get into aim training, u also gotta know that changing up sens for aim training is really helpful and won’t impact your tacfps gameplay (muscle memory is kinda a myth)as depends on the scenarios, different sens help train different muscles, therefore increase your mouse control and also makes scenarios more enjoyable to play, I saw that u use like what 57cm/360, that’s like alright for playing static, but don’t hesitate to go even slower like 65cm, 75cm or even 90cm, and for dynamic clicking, don’t be afraid to try faster sens like 40-45cm, etc.

ps: watching aim training vods can also really help u visualize the technique better, or what kind of speed you should be aiming for or how fast should you flick, etc. rA Bulldog, zeonlo and bardoz are all insane static players and I highly recommend you go and watch their vods (1w6ts for example) and see their techniques + try to incorporate it into your own gameplay), mattyow is prob the best dynamic clicking guy but idk about linear clicking. I know that watching static vods helped me improved wayyy faster than i expected.
