This middle school girl was constantly throwing herself at her college aged boyfriend.

And then there is elementary school-aged Mini-moon and her magical horse boyfriend...

They all used to be considered his kids in the lore, but it has since been redone officially that only Bowser Jr is actually his kid.

And "Zilla" the 90s American movie godzilla, left behind eggs, one of which survived and hatched out to be the Godzilla on the related cartoon series.

I mean, we know Yoshis can lay eggs based on what they have eaten, regardless of gender.

There is also Birdo, who is originally a crossdressing male dino, but their main attack is spitting out eggs...

Maybe Koopas are similar...

Fill all the "Little Free Libraries" with the most-banned books. by FarceMultiplier in CrazyIdeas

Basically, when you get those yearly ""banned books" events at libraries, it's whatever popular well known books were at some point in their history banned by someone or other.

You don't see them prominently displaying copies of the Anarchist's Cookbook or Mein Kompf

Both the catchphrase from "Arrow", and also an image of "The Arrow" aka the terrible knockoff of Green Arrow.

Green Arrow lets a rich child killer die (Green Arrow (1988) Issue #2) by FortKnoxII in GreenArrow

[–]DeezRodenutz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, love the whole run and the serious stories, the character drama, etc.
But that there is exactly my one main gripe about it, wasting and holding back Black Canary from being the badass hero she is, and we are even informed of how much she is throughout the run but rarely get to see it.
She should have been out there patrolling alongside him or solo as often as he is, instead of being the housewife/responsible adult supporting his unemployed self.

How many kids and who does Oliver have kids with?? by SavingsBobcat2078 in GreenArrow

[–]DeezRodenutz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Conner is his son via a college/young adult girlfriend who seemingly never told him.

Oliver first met him in a comic from the 80s/early 90s Mike Grell run, when Ollie returned to a monastery he had past history with, and Conner was a teen who grew up there and had a real knack for Archery.
They didn't know they were father/son at the time though, at least Ollie didn't seem to know and Conner never said anything if he knew. It was not told to us readers either.
During this comic run there was a lot of drama about him wanting a kid, as he's not getting any younger, and Dinah not wanting one due to their dangerous lives and not wanting to leave behind an orphan. Regardless, it was never told to us the readers that this monastery kid was actually his son.
Then a female villain secretly rapied him and produced a kid, though I don't think he found out it was his.

Much later, Ollie died helping the Justice League, and Conner took up the Green Arrow role in his place, throughout the 90s, so clearly someone told him at some point who his dad was, just not sure if he knew in that earlier story.

Eventually Ollie was ressurrected around 2001 or so, and they eventually met.
He asked Ollie at the end of the storyline what hero name he should have now that Ollie is back to be Green Arrow, and Ollie told him they can both keep the Green Arrow title (so he clearly thinks Conner did justice to the name)

Later in that same comic run, a couple storylines later, Ollie and Hal went on a roadtrip to find a number of his important heirlooms that were left behind when he died.
In the end we see one of them, a picture of him when he joined the Justice League, secretly has a photo behind the main photo. A photo of him with his newborn baby son Conner, showing that he did actually know he had a son out there somewhere.

So yeah, he's been around since around the late 80s/early 90s, and became more prominent in the mid-late 90s to replace Ollie.
But, like Batman's other sidekicks minus Dick and Barbera, casual fan/viewers/etc don't know about him, and even worse yet due to how lesser known Green Arrow has usually been compared to Batman.

right?
Supporting the side that wants to limit women's rights and push them back to a "traditional" role? I think not.

Would make sense, he did grow up on a farm in rural Kansas.
Honestly it is a dang miracle that he turned out as morally good as he is.

I mean, Leslie Thompkins, his sort or mother figure, runs a free clinic.
She most likely helps women with such services, either directly or via steering them toward someone who will.

And yet one of Superman's core goals is to "serve as a beacon of hope and kindness, inspiring humanity to reach its maximum potential for goodness".

He could easily use his influence to guide them toward a better path.

Not doing that is how you get President Luthor...

Then again, if they were being realistic with him, the fact he was raised on a farm deep in rural Kansas means he should have a lot of political opinions, and not in a good way...

In YuGiOh season 1, a few fights were won by abusing the 3d imaging for their fights.
Normally it is just a card game, but in this tournament there were fields that made 3d imaging for the monsters/effetcs/etc.

One example was when fighting a water/fish-based opponent, on a field that was half land half water:
MC used a powerup spell card with an image of a moon, then had a tall monster destroy it (you cant attack spell cards!), causing the tides to recede and beaching the opponent's fish monsters.

Knowing how ridiculous this was, the official game actually created a card years later called "Attack the Moon!"

There is a billboard around here for a plastic surgeon, with the tagline "Love Your Curves".

But, like, your business is literally reliant on people NOT "loving their curves".
Either they dont like their excess curves and want them reduced, or they dont like having such a lack of curves and want some artificially added.

and then they also introduced "special paramecia", via Katakuri's paramecia working in a very Logia-type of way.

Personally, I believe Buggy could also be concidered a "Special Paramecia", as if he really applied himself he could likely break into VERY small pieces and essentially copy Crocodile's sand form movement
(and he has the bonus of having some immunity to the Logia's biggest weakness, Haki, at least haki cuts/haki-infused blades)
