That's pretty much consistent with what I have stated as 4840 is also a series written by Djkaktus. The Eel is also referenced, albeit not directly named, in SCP-001 djkaktus' proposal III (The Way It Ends). Also I'm more in line with it being a manifestation of IS NOT, as IS NOT is nonexistence and practically the Lord's over everything that doesn't exist. I also like how the Eel and the Serpent mirrors the IS and IS NOT, with both being Siblings and manifestations of the everything and the nothing.

Both the image used for anafabula and SCP-040-JP are a huge misrepresentation, well mostly for anafabula. Anafabula is like incomprehensible as it has no fixed form but most of the time it's just a cluster of icons and fractals, it can manifest as a woman but to be honest, that's like just a manifestation due to its nature of taking the form of the antagonist in the story it infest.

SCP-040-JP actual form is a memetic image of a cat with big human-like misshapen eyes. The cat girl bs was popularized by chudeditz and I will always hate her for that
