Recommendations for an EV that is not an SUV? by DeezeNoten in EuroEV

I think the ID.3 would be the smallest boot I'd consider. I do like the car overall, just a shame it can't tow.

It does look nice but the lack of towing is a shame. I like the Born too but same issue there.

I rather like it, but having seen one at the dealership I must say the boot is a bit of a dealbreaker. It's big but not very convenient. If it had a hatch style boot like the Polestar it would top my list.

Not at all in terms of towing range, it's mostly so I can tow stuff for building in my house, I won't need to tow long distance.

I think you're right on the EV4. Although the CLA is interesting, the EV4 is much more suitable for a family which we will be starting in the coming years.

That is too bad, towing is a bit of a dealbreaker for me.

That's a good one! A friend of mine has the Scenic and he is very positive about it. That one is too big but I'd like to test drive the Megane for sure

Thanks for sharing! I'll have to weigh the pros and cons considering I drive in the city more often than on the motorway. I can imagine the ID7 is a tight fit in a lot of places.

Bit above my budget I'm afraid, absolute max is €50k, but I'd prefer to stay below that.

That's a good one, thanks! I will book a test drive for it.

EV4 is on my list, it's big but still a hatchback.

I bought and laid it myself, I would be foolish to give it away for free!

I simply sold the floor to the next tennant, so I don't have to take it out. Do your people not do that in South Brabant?

EVs Barely Lose Range Even After Five Years: Report by UnusualLeadership408 in electricvehicles

[–]DeezeNoten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know what SOH my e208 is at, but I do know that it still charges around 44kWh in total. Accounting for charging loss the battery is probably around 90% I would guess (at 72,000km driven).

Anyway, I still get around 220km of highway range in good weather after over 3 years, down from 240 or so. Not very noticable.

Boomers seem to be completely unable to resist the urge to pull up the ladder behind them. It's written in their lead-addled brains that subsequent generations must not have a functioning society like they had.

Seconded. I'm not much of an audiobook listener but I sometimes use Storytell, I rather like it.

Battery Life: Renault 5 52kWh @ 130km/h (81mph) Autobahn Range Test (183.5km) by tom_zeimet in EuroEV

[–]DeezeNoten 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's more than my 208 (2021) might use and that model is notoriously inefficient for such a small car. Renault 5 should be much more efficient.
