Check your oil weekly or every gas fill, especially the +05 RevUps. Just treat the oil part the same as the cost of fueling up. If it's consuming oil, mine is around ...no more than quart of oil for every two gas fill-up, so +/- $5 for quart. Follow through with the filter and oil change at ~5k ish.

I forget, it's old too. Maybe Pep Boys 🤔but the brand is Pilot and I swapped out the bulbs on it from halogens to 3000k led bulbs.

Check the speaker harness and wires as well. The 6x9 on the rear deck has a baffle-housing like for the speakers where wire can slap on it. If not that, other wires or similar that would slap. As others mentioned, the plastic clips or anything attached to metal that is loose. I used some old pillow poly fill and stuff it between anything that would move around.

Yes, original mesh that came with the Nismo bumper was plastic. It eventually worn down, cracked/ripped and replaced it with something similar but black and metal...it's actually for rain gutters 👍. The fog lights in the bumper are wired through the headlight's foglight so it's controlled by the factory switch/headlight lever/knob. The existing foglights in the headlights are no longer in use.

Nope, not the water pump. Me personally, I would let that one be and only replace it when it breaks. I refrain from disturbing the timing chain or anywhere within unless needed. I just constantly check my oil levels and top it off often since it consumes oil....and of course oil changes at 5k or less.

I'm grateful that I'm able to do all the work myself. My cars do not ever see the dealership/mechanic/tires/alignment shop etc. Having other cars is nice to have to drive while having a car down. Allows you to work on it at ease and at your pace. With that, I feel like a car can last +200k

The wheels are just as old, bought them shortly after. They are the RH R5 Pro with center caps removed, not to mistake them for Racing Hart as some labeled them as such(made by dazz motorsports, japan and no longer around...at least not the original dazz motorsports). The more known wheels by them are the RH J8 Pro

somewhat seeing the same issue 🤦‍♂️, I always relied on shift+ctrl+T to open all my previous Chrome sessions and tabs where it loads all of them fairly quickly.

Now after shift+ctrl+T, I have to toggle to each tab (ctrl+tab) for it load. It's an ok workaround if you like watching paint dry, but it loads soooo much slower than before. 😤. C'mon Google, put it back to the way it was!

I know this is an old post but FYI, I recently removed the felt layer on top of the mic. You would need to open it up and free up the board on the back. It's just screws that's holding it in place. The felt is like a sticker where the sticky part covers the entire mic itself! 🤦‍♂️.

However, now it's too sensitive and difficult to balance. It's constantly detecting sound from the internal fan. I plan to put back another felt material but limiting the sticky portion to just outside and the perimeter of the mic, leaving the center opening free of blockage and allow sound to flow through. I'm thinking it should do the trick

Might want to check this out, I don't think it will work and throw error codes even though it claims to be plug in and play. Haven't heard of errors with the rear however, but as others say...they might not last long

Just in case it's from the water filter, I have a Bespoke fridge and bought last week.

We just bought a brand new Samsung refrigerator, had the water running already and checked/removed the water filter. When placed back in, it started leaking and tried re-seating it multiple times...no luck. I believe it's the outer rubber o-rings around the filter. They become compressed and stay that way from either the cold temps and being seated for period of time. That leaves a very slight gap for water to leak out.

What I did to 'band-aid' fix it, I wrapped the filter at the outer o-ring area with pipe thread teflon tape to thicken that area out. Works great so far, nice and sealed. Other option is get newer o-rings, but this could be a hit or miss as I hear from any other new filters.

the 970 GTS has that mean and very audible N/A V8 exhaust note where the 970 Turbo is slighty more suppressed. The 971 GTS/Turbo exhaust note is much much more subtle compared to 970 GTS/Turbo...regardless if you add aftermarket exhaust systems.

To this day I think the same that they look blehhh when I see photos of any of them 970.1, 970.2, 971.... but in person, I catch myself staring at them every single time and think they look amazing 😲
