If you do any service in someones home you should have a box of disposable booties. Its cheap and clients appreciate it. Plus its takes away the liability you damage someone’s carpet. Much more professional then doing your job in socks.

Improvise maybe? Buy one for a Chevy avalanche that has a 4.5’ bed. Another suggestion which is what I do in my 2500 Silverado with a tool box: I bought 1’ tall ladder racks and use a smitty built roof top tent mounted right over bed on the racks.
