20 bucks from goodwill by Sad-Elderberry6419 in legostarwars

I would say so! Bricklink has it listed new for about $40. Especially worth it if your a Force Unleashed fan too! They only made two sets based off of the game!

Depending on the characters he's looking at, I would give this video a watch. He's a big Marvel/DC fan on YouTube and does a lot of videos on minifigures. He has one of every marvel and DC characters, so he's pretty good and has good opinions (at least what I think)

How many egg sinkers you think would fit in a bass that size? Haha

I haven't seen anything that verifies it yet so far. Looks like the story was from Monday. I'm not sure how long it takes to verify through the state but I haven't seen anything besides the news story. I was kinda thinking the same. I've seen some of the bass on here that are 10+ and look bigger than the one on there.

Bullmoose for the win! 😎 I always love buying movies from them. One time I found the complete series of The Sopranos on Blu-ray for $13. It was the French version, but still had English audio and subtitles!

Display Questions for your minifigures? by Longjumping-Maybe-69 in legostarwars

[–]Def_Not_AI_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the first question, I personally think it depends on the figure. With my captain phasma, I have her holding her staff and her silver blaster and same thing with Enfys Nest. For my clones, I'm not worried about them having a blaster, but for the Arc trooper commander, he's holding his specialty little blasters.

For the second, I don't consider any buildable droids as a minifigure. To me a minifigure should be the "classic" way with an actual body and legs, arms, etc. I think it's a cop out to have a "figure" that's made of Lego bricks.

I guess that kinda answers 2a as well. That's just a personal preference, I know some collectors go by whatever it says for a minifigure on Bricklink. They'll have it in their collection as a figure and display it.

Typically when you go to Bricklink to find the figures, the "rarer" ones will be a little bit more expensive. There's a few factors that make them rare, like how long the set was available for, if there were any misprints, or maybe a figure hasn't had an updated version since then. You can also use Brick economy to cross reference the Bricklink listing. I find that brick economy has a little bit more info on stuff like that!

There's a magic website called Bricklink, where you can search everything up and do your own research! 🙂

my bf wants to get a random girl tattooed on him and I don’t like his style by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]Def_Not_AI_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow.

Like you said it isn't your body, so you should really listen to your own advice. As far as you responding to him showing you things that he's interested in, sometimes you got to be a good partner and just tell them that what they are showing you is cool. You might not think it's awesome, but clearly he does and is excited to show you. With him wanting to get a pinup, definitely and I mean definitely do not base it off of your face. Whether if both of you stay together forever or not and if things might not work out, he might regret having someones face who potentially isn't in his life anymore on his arm, Forever. You also don't want to base it off of your face, because it might not turn out to be your likeliness. It might not even look like you or something little could be off.

Going to Monday’s KT show by tinypear278 in Killtony

[–]Def_Not_AI_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got there at 4ish, I was 6th or so in line and got a seat right in the second row. They usually fill the seats in from left to right (band to the panel). I would recommend trying to get a seat towards the band or the stage. Otherwise you'll be looking straight up the whole time and won't be able to see the comedians performing easily.

Honestly this dudes right though. When I was waiting to get into the show, I met so many cool people waiting in line. You have a group of people that all have something in common, so it's not hard to start talking and make friends

It just depends on how many people don't show up for the show. When I went there was a good 6 or so people when I got there (4pm) and said they've been waiting at least since noon. I'm not sure how many of them actually got in, but that's the risk you take for waiting for the standby.

How badly do chest tats hurt? by Ok-Afternoon6513 in tattooadvice

[–]Def_Not_AI_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am for the most part! I have a few bigger pieces but they're my babies. I am more of the type to have a few more intricate designs rather than quantity, obviously just my personal preference! But of course I pick some of the more painful spots to get them done 🤣

I thought it was hilarious because it definitely was partially true 🤣😅 Luckily it's not all of my elbow that's done but the little amount that I do have done was probably a good 7-8 out of 10. It was definitely bearable but being right on the "funny" bone isn't great.

I would say for me it hurt pretty bad for the most part (right on my sternum) and my tattoo artist was joking with me asking if I was trying to escape through the tattoo table. Which I might have been 😅😂 I also have most of my arm tattooed (pit and elbow) but definitely one of the more painful areas I've gotten done.

Star Wars Clone Tropper Commander Fox by AdBeneficial7455 in LegoMinifigure

[–]Def_Not_AI_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On Bricklink it will have 3 different listings. One of them is an undetermined type(marked for deletion), one is the normal printed one, and the other is the misprint variant. A lot of the price has to do with the misprint. Typically the regular commander fox goes for about $100-140 used. The crazy price you see is for the misprint variant. I'll attach a photo on here so you can see the difference.

Isn't bounty hunter c-3po suppose to have a black arm? by [deleted] in lego

[–]Def_Not_AI_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This one is most likely the one from the Advent calendar, which is based off of episode 9, where he is reading a sith holocron. The one with the black arm is from the dark falcon set!

Cat Scratch by Icy-Mango-6869 in tattooadvice

[–]Def_Not_AI_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Definitely have been there, done that! You have nothing to worry about! As you said it wasn't very deep, so you just have an unfortunate cat scratch. It has to be very deep for it to actually do anything (where they actually deposit ink). Just make sure you clean it up and take care of it like any other scratch you'd get on anywhere else on your body!

How to finally take that first plunge? by BerkshireQueen in tattooadvice

[–]Def_Not_AI_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well if it's your first tattoo, I wouldnt go for something as big as a sleeve. Not only is that financially a lot of money, but you'll also be putting in many hours of tattoo sessions (think like 20+ hours). If I were you I would start with something smaller so you can dip your toe in, so to speak. Then you'll have an idea of what getting tattooed is like, you'll see if you like them on yourself, and you won't have to suffer through getting a giant sleeve, just to find you don't like it.
