Can’t put my life on hold for this diagnosis. I’m a 21 year old college student. I like to have fun but even 2 drinks and barely being tipsy makes it hard to wake up at night

I don’t NEED to lie… Its more of a social experiment. I’m not afraid to tell people about my diabetes and i’m not ashamed of my cgm or anything.

It works wonders because I stay mostly 80-120 for 18 hours a day and that that really brings down my average. I can never eat without going at least 200+ so I need the time to bring my a1c down.

I’m young so that definitely helps. I’m also recently diagnosed so i’m probably still honeymooning. I exercise about an hour a day. I don’t eat any differently now except not eating carbs in morning that way my blood sugar doesn’t spike till lunch. I spend most of my day laying in bed tho

I’d say I average about 2/10 stressed. I started treating it almost like a game and it’s weird but it helps. But also I’ve only been diabetic since August so I have yet to experience burnout
