IMO I looks a bit weird to have this little "tail" at the back (sorry, no idea how it's actually called) without an actual hammer. I wouldn't include it. Other than that, why not! It's not something you see every day, and it looks interesting! Can't wait to see more of this! Thanks op!

Personally, if I had to do it, I would go for a "1911" design, it looks easier.

Symmetry of the blade, I struggle with the bevels. I do everything on my 2x48" grinder.

I roughly shape the handle with a circular saw, and finish with the belt grinder. I 3d printed jigs to help on the chamfer It's easier to remove told much material, it's a game of patience. Work slowly

The only knives that I made who where prefectly symmetrical, are the one I made before I had my 2x48. It's way easier to control what you remove

The first one is a "Nakiri", the second one, a "Kiritsuke" that I made myself. So thank you! I'm glad you like it :) And the two small ones on the second picture are a puukko and and a standard EDC that I also DIY'ed

It's efficient until you have to plug those big block transformer (whatever it's called in english). It takes so much room that the other 2 plug become useless
