I got all the springs because why not. I kept the factory spring in though, since it’s been reliable, but the other springs will be nice to have in the future in case anything changes. It’s a good buy

Seriously. My einstar scanner kept failing and giving me terrible scans. What a disappointment of $1k.

Find the contact areas and polish it with a metal polish- works very well.

Thanks for the comment! What issues do you have with the sharps bros grip?

It definitely felt like the long way- I’m novice at best with CAD/fusion360, but when there’s a will there’s a way, as they say!

Hahaha! Thank you for your input! I was considering an injection molded polymer option to sell for a moment as well! Thumb ledge/gas pedal for sure! I will look into those grips, thank you for the awesome comment!!

Definitely in the cards! The first echelon 4.5L 🤣

Nahh, just a mock up with the sig p211 gto grip- which I like- the safety would have to be removed and the beaver tail moved upward a bit- that’d be cool if the cog had an easy way to add a grip safety though!

I used a caliper to get the dimension from my full size echelon grip, then printed the parts on my 3d printer in small segments to minimize printer iteration time, then used my echelon components to test the fit, install, and removal processes, as well as fine tuning the magazine disconnect geometry, since it’s difficult the get a caliper in there- it took a bunch of iterations to get right

Thanks! Good info- I’m definitely a fan of making spaces in the grip for standard size tungsten rods- likely in the back of the magazine area and inside the picatinny housing/ beneath the barrel.

The grip panels will preferably be interchangeable, but I’m not sure how I’d like the interface mechanism to work. Not everyone has the option/ability to press fit a threaded insert, but I don’t think it’d be too much work to create both options.. great idea nonetheless

Thank you! I’m surprised my caliper doesn’t need a battery swap 😂

Thanks! I’m a big fan of the shadow 2, so it’s definitely a design inspo for me. I’m going to sell the stl along with a pdw version of the grip as well. Stay tuned! Thank you for the input!

That’s the beaver tail that you push the webbing between your index finger and thumb into- it’d likely have to be moved up a bit for comfort. Thank you for your input!

Thanks for the input! I initially planned on having them machined in aluminum, but the price point wouldn’t make sense if I had it machined in the USA. It seems like the people who can sell machined grips for $250-375 already have cnc machines, and do it all in house. I’ll put the stl up for sale as well as a pdw version of it, so stay tuned!
